Renninger Ann Carolin

Ann Carolin Renninger studied cultural science, philosophy and journalism at the University of Leipzig, Strasbourg and Paris. 2006 - 2008 Head of DOK Industry for DOK Leipzig FF. In charge of the International Co-production Meetings and the annual film market. Since 2008 works as a producer for zero one film, Berlin, and started her own company joon film in 2010. With joon film she focuses on artistic and experimental films, both shorts and feature length. joon film recently produced the feature-length documentary "Of the Salamander’s Espousal with the Green Snake" (dir. René Frölke) that won the ARTE Award for best documentary at the Duisburger Film Festival. The short documentary "Guided Tour" (dir. René Frölke) was shown at Berlinale 2011 and at the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen. Currently developing and producing several documentary projects for zero one film and joon film, including "No Peace without War" by Lorenzo Castore and Adam Cohen together with faber film (Italy) and co-developing the feature-length documentary on the Romanian writer Norman Manea "The Hoologan's Kaleidoskope" (WT) by Paolo Benzi.
