Nabízí denně aktualizovaný informační servis o vznikajících a dokončených filmech, rozhovory s tvůrci i se zástupci dalších dokumentárních profesionálů nebo analýzy situace dokumentární podpory v různých zemích regionu, měnících se způsobů produkce, distribuce a obecně podpory a financování dokumentárního filmu. Jeho součástí jsou i rozsáhlé databáze východoevropských filmů, institucí, produkčních společností, fondů, festivalů, nebo trailerů a video reportáží. www.DOKweb.net je hlavním online projektem IDF, poskytuje veškeré informace o aktivitách organizace, které zároveň propojuje s obecným informačním servisem.
Aktivity Institutu dokumentárního filmu
Občanské sdružení INSTITUT DOKUMENTÁRNÍHO FILMU (IDF) již od roku 2001 podporuje východoevropský autorský dokumentární film a jeho prosazení na evropské úrovni. Obracíme se na východoevropské režiséry a nezávislé producenty, kterým pomáháme při vývoji, produkci, propagaci a distribuci jejich dokumentární tvorby. Nabízíme jim komplexní řetězec podpory, který cílí na jednotlivé filmaře (konzultace s vybranými experty), skupiny vybraných profesionálů s projekty či filmy (Ex Oriente Film, East European Forum, East Silver, Doc Launch atd.), domácí i mezinárodní dokumentární komunitu (East Doc Platform) i veřejnost (portál www.DOKweb.net). Spolupracujme s předními festivaly, TV stanicemi, distributory, sales agenty, trhy nebo vzdělávacími programy, pro něž jsme BRANOU DO VÝCHODOEVROPSKÉHO DOKUMENTU.

GRATULUJEME!!! Výběr dokumentární projektů pro letošní  workshop Ex Oriente Film 2006 je u konce. Z přihlášených 46 připravovaných filmů jsme vybrali 13 režisérů s producenty. Seznam projektů zatím uvádíme v anglickém jazyce.

RAPito ErGO sum (Czech Republic)

The Czechoslovak hip-hop scene which has grown quite rapidly during the last decade and has become many young people’s means of self-identification. Film follows the inner lyrics of rap which gain important social context and compare it to the real life of post communist rappers.

New and huge industrial zone should grow near of the tranquil agricultural village of Nosovice. On this story film tells us about globalization and level of democracy in Czech Republic proved by behavior of the giant foreign investor company to the local inhabitants.

1956 -  From the Inside Out is documentary film about Hungarian revolution based on archive footage of world media and on the eyewitness former communist Eva Hay widow of Gyula Hay, the greatest drama writer of the period, who was jailed in 1957.

Benes Aijo has been born to Latvian mother and Ugandan father. A black guy who comes from the poorest region of the European Union during years became to be one of the most notorious members of the extreme left and racist National Bolsheviks. A story about being lost in the society, which is considered one of the least tolerant in Europe.

Cheluskin – Russia – 6000 km away from Moscow, 4 hours helicopter flight from the nearest settlement, lays a small, forgotten border patrol base. Eight soldiers guard and impaled in to the ground wooden pole. Freezing temperatures, lack of equipment, and the artic day and night give them a place of shelter which they call a “paradise”.
