Our first home was at www.DOCUinter.net, painted in sober grey with orange highlights, designed by Hynek Alt.
In 2006, we switched to the sleek black by Petr Krejzek (ReDesign). The refreshed portal introduced the Map of Eastern Europe, a directory of festivals, organizations, directors, producers, distributors, grants, funds and institutional support for documentary filmmaking in 13 East European countries. We also provided an overview of important dates and deadlines for international events, festivals, markets or grant applications.
In 2009, we processed more than 6000 completed Czech and East European films, and over 4500 entries on film professionals. We also decided to merge the once separate websites of the Institute of Documentary Film and the East Silver market.
In 2010, www.DOKweb.net - the black-on-white scheme by Richard Rozhoň, Tomáš Varga, Jaromír Skácel and Jakub Samek (Mütanta), and Petr Babák (Laboratory) - was first launched with larger databases and unified information about all of our activities.
In 2011, the website had another facelift to clear up the layout for the expanded scope of our activities.
