Bucharest: Romanian journalists and film critics selected The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceauşescu (Autobiografia lui Nicolae Ceauşescu) as the best Romanian film of 2010 and its director, Andrei Ujică, as the best Romanian director of the year.
They also named Victor Rebengiuc from Medal of Honor (Medalia de onoare) by Călin Peter Netzer) as the best Romanian actor and Ozana Oancea from First of All Felicia (Felicia, înainte de toate) by Răzvan Rădulescu and Melissa de Raaf) as the best Romanian actress of 2010.
The Romanian press voted The White Ribbon (Das weisse Band) by Michael Haneke as the best European film distributed in Romania in 2010. The Social Network by David Fincher was voted the best film of 2010.
The awards were launched by Champions Agency. The winning films are screened in a special program at a leading venue in Bucharest.

It is a mere question of aesthetic level, whether he turns out to be Baudelaire or Bolintineanu, Louis XVI or Nicolae Ceausescu." (Andrei Ujica). During the summary trial that he and his wife were submitted to, Nicolae Ceausescu is reviewing his long reign in power: 1965-1989. It is an historical tableau that in its scope resembles American film frescos such as those dedicated to the Vietnam War.
