The CROSS-MEDIA CHALLENGE is a competition for innovative, interactive, socially engaged content with applications for mobile and broadband. The winning producer will sign a production development deal with the NFB worth C$10,500/£5,000. Four semi-finalists will be invited to present their projects at a panel session during the Sheffield Doc/Fest. The winner will be announced at the festival’s Cross Platform program. Semi-finalists must finance their own travel to the festival.

Crossing Bridges Productions is a Kosovo based film and TV production studio, focused primarily on producing high quality documentary films and television programming that addresses the most pressing social issues in Kosovar society. The Crossing Bridges production team is not only skilled and experienced in producing dynamic and engaging films and programs, but is also dedicated to the understanding that the media is an essential tool in raising public awareness and critical thinking, and thus engaging society to take a more informed and active role in improving our quality of life.

CROSSING EUROPE is a festival that presents to international branch and press guests and the local cinema audience over 150 hand-picked feature films, documentaries and short films every year.

Crossover is an international programme designed to explore the creative and the commercial challenges of developing content and services for digital media. The lab process brings together creative professionals from diverse disciplines – including film and TV production, animation, games, theatre, web design and new media – to share understanding of a rapidly changing mediascape, to form new interdisciplinary collaborations and generate ideas for projects. Crossover differs from other models of lab, which work with existing teams on pre-conceived proposals. We mix people with a range of creative skills, at different stages in their careers and from diverse cultural backgrounds. Participants are selected as individuals to create new partnerships and explore new collaborative interdisciplinary approaches to cross-platform development.

crosstalk video art festival is an annual video art exhibition, which seeks to rise the awareness of people for video as an art form.

The mission of the CRRAV is to develop the audiovisual sector in the region. The Association administers funds intended to support the production and distribution of cinematographic, television and multimedia works that are relevant, in artistic terms, to the historic, geographic and social diversity of the Nord-Pas de Calais region.

The company was founded in 1994 by young writers, musicians and amateur filmmakers aiming to produce low-budget horror movies and thrillers (based on Italian traditions) for the Hungarian film market. In the past years they have made many films and music videos including five feature films. They prefer special genres like horror, thriller or Tarantino-like comedies that are popular in Hungary but the "official" film industry has not so far embraced this kind of movies. The members of the team are not filmschool-educated filmmakers but they focus more on the audience's taste and so they are able to create movies that appease the cinemagoers.

CSC is a national association dedicated to the study of cinema and cinema-related subjects. CSC organizes courses aimed at promoting cinema culture among young people; it also promotes critical studies, film reviews and magazines.

The CST is an association of professionals from the audiovisual field, in charge of supervising the quality of the production and broadcast of sound and images, whether they are intended for cinema, television or any other medium. CST provides technical and economic expert appraisals and contributes to the implementation of new standards, such as digital technology and the introduction of new media such as video on demand (VOD).

Server for Bulgarian Art and Culture. Cult.Bg is a portal site and cultural server on the Internet, created and developed to achieve a complete presentation of contemporary art and culture in Bulgaria. It was developed to provide a systematic archive /multimedia database/ of art collections and documentation of all sorts related to arts. The portal is maintained by a Content Manager, responsible for the content development and administration, team of editors in the different areas as visual arts/ music/ cinema, etc., code developer and system administrator. Additionally the project provides a number of free services such as: free hosting for cultural projects and organizations, free e-mail. The portal has a stable audience of approx. 500 visitors per day.

Cultfilm is a production and post-production company providing comprehensive services in the production of audiovisual works and media.

Cultural Contact Point (CCP) is established in each country participating in the Culture Programme. Since January 2008 there are already 34 countries participating in the Programme and 33 CCPs. Cultural Contact Point is an information office for Culture Programme, responsible for the promotion of the programme on the national level, for dissemination and exchange of information related to the implementation of the Programme; it provides assistance in searching partner organisations and offers technical support for users.
