DOX is the leading European magazine on documentary filmmaking. The magazine contains important information on festivals, markets and funding bodies. You can read everything from the latest news, personal POV's, festival reports, short and long reviews, special features as well as festival and market calendars. DOX is an international distributed magazine received by all EDN members as well as individual subscribers. In addition to this the magazine is also distributed at major documentary events such as Hot Docs, MIP DOC, Sunny Side of the Doc, IDFA, Documentary in Europe, DocsBarcelona a.o.

The Documentary Media Society organizes DOXA, Vancouver's first ever exclusively documentary film and video festival as an annual event presenting thoughtful and cutting edge documentary films to Vancouver audiences.

doxs! is the oldest German film festival exclusively presenting documentaries for children and adolescents. The international film programme is part of the well known documentary festival "Duisburger Filmwoche". Each screening is accompanied by a moderated Q&A. The entry to all screenings is free for accredited festival guests and pupils. doxs! works in various fields of media education and constantly develops new pilot-projects which set pace and break new ground.

DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) is Denmark’s oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. The corporation was founded in 1925 as a public service organisation. DR is an independent, licence financed public institution. DR TV comprises two channels, DR1 and DR2. DR1 was founded in 1951 and DR2 in 1996. Both channels are, from April 2006, broadcasted with full national coverage as free-to-air signals via the new digital terrestrial television (DTT) platform. Broadcast continues on the analogue terrestrial network (with some limitations for DR2) until analogue shut off by end of October 2009. Both channels are must carry on cable, and satellite operators offer both channels in their packages. In addition most of the channels content is freely available on demand as streaming and podcast on the Internet (and to a smaller degree to mobile phones).

DR International Sales, the sales department of DR (the Danish Broadcasting Corp.), is Scandinavia’s largest international TV-distributor. We distribute and sell films and TV programmes produced by DR as well by independent production companies around the world. Our focus is great stories in all genres, but we specialise in documentaries and also handle projects in production for international co-productions and pre-sales. We are looking for new engaging projects on contemporary stories. Unique stories and strong narratives for an international audience.

DRAGON FORUM International Academy of Document is a series of workshop sessions dedicated to developing documentary projects and preparation for a pitching session with international TV commissioners. Each year the sessions take place in Warsaw and various other European Cities and ends with a pitching session at the Cracow International Film Festival. Every year about 20 documentary film projects are selected. Projects’ representatives attend sessions lead by international experts - directors, producers, commissioners form UK, The Netherlands, Poland, Lithuania, Germany, United States). Dragon Forum also hosts the so-called Open Evenings – film screenings and discussions opened to public, which support the notion, that close contact between the creator and the audience is key in the contemporary film landscape.

The Drama International Short Film Festival takes place every year in the city of Drama, and it aims to support and promote the production of short films. The festival accepts fiction, documentary and animated films under 35 minutes. The festival jury selects winners in the following categories: Grand Prix Prize, Second Prize, Best Balkan Film Award and Best Animation Film Award.

Dresdner Schmalfilmtage is a competitive film festival. It presents films that move across the borders of art and trash. Avant-garde, experimental and trash films are invited to participate in the program which includes a 8mm and 16mm short film competition (10min), a competition of Super 8 films that deal with an assigned theme, and non-competitive screenings.

Dribbling Pictures is a Belgrade-based production company founded in 2003 and exclusively devoted to creative documentaries. Its four previous productions, “Pretty Dyana”, “Unmik Titanik” and “Goodbye, How Are You?“ by Boris Mitić and “Cinema Komunisto“ by Mila Turajlić, have toured over 200 festivals, won 30 awards and were broadcasted on over 25 international TV stations.

As part of our production support we have started providing " line producing / co-producing " services to international clients in India.
