The company soon became one of the leaders in the Slovenian market producing a number of award wining TV ads for Slovenian and international clients. Led by Frenk Celarc, one of Slovenia's best known production managers whose work includes over 30 feature films of national andinternational production, the company now focuses primarily on its own film production. Besides our own production, we also offer a complete range of film services which includes infrastructure, equipment and organization for all types of film production in Slovenia. Gustav film few years ago focused on low budget film production starting with LETTER TO A CHILD and continue with DAD where we first invite crew members important and necessary for film production and create a wide coalition of local co-producers creating a production family that together strongly beleives in the film. What we are looking for is creative crew in all levels and good energy in development, production and promotion and distribution.

Hamburg Gay & Lesbian Film Festival was established in 1989 and it is currently Hamburg's third largest film festival. During six days the festival shows over 150 international films in 5 venues. All selected films are dedicated to the topic of homosexuality or they reflect lesbian & gay culture. The winners of five audience choice awards are announced at the final ceremony. The competiton sections include Eurola for the best European feature, Dokula - audience award for best documentary film, Globola for the overall best feature, and Ursula for the best short film.

Established in 1985, the Hamburg International Short Film Festival has its roots in the independent filmmaking scene. Since it was founded, it has always been the Festival’s aim to rise to the challenge presented by new developments and changing parameters in technology, society, and aesthetics. Hamptons International Film Festival is committed to fostering independent cinema and filmmakers' careers at their early stages of development. The festival was founded in 1993 to celebrate the independent film - long, short, fiction and documentary - and to introduce a unique and varied spectrum of international films and filmmakers to audiences. Festival prizes are abundant. Juried awards include the Golden Starfish Award for Fiction Feature ($150,000 in-kind goods and services), documentary ($10,000 cash/in-kind) and short film ($5,000). Other awards include the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Feature Film Prize in Science and Technology ($25,000), The Kodak Award for Best Cinematographer ($6,000 in-kind), the Zicherman Family Foundation Award for Best Screenwriter ($5,000), the Brizzolara Family Inspirational Film Award ($5,000). Additionally, Graduate and Undergraduate awards are given to eight student filmmakers who receive $1,000 each.
