Established in 1999, Kino Expo is the film industry convention & trade fair for Russia and former USSR countries – Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Georgia, Armenia, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Central Asian countries. Kino Expo Convention is the central event for local cinema professionals and the meeting place of Russian and international cinema business communities. Kino Expo Trade Fair has progressed to one of the largest motion picture equipment exhibitions worldwide. Kino Expo Convention & Trade Fair effectively unites film exhibition, distribution and production communities, contributing to further development of local cinema industry.

Kino Praha is a non-profit organization founded by young, enthusiast film makers in 2011 and is part of the world wide network of the “Kino” movement. The main objectives of Kino Praha include organizing Kino Kabarets and international film seminars, lectures, conferences and film screenings, establishing cooperation between Czech and international film organizations, training courses, attending international youth exchanges, and also short-term and long-term volunteering projects with the audiovisual theme etc. “Kino Kabaret” is a film making workshop lasting several days, which gathers film makers from all over the world to create short, low budget (or no budget) films. Under one roof you will find amateur and professional film makers with diverse professions, nationalities, ages and gender all creating films with almost no financial means! The emphasis is on effort, creativity, enthusiasm and having a healthy dose of fun. Which is made possible by mutual help and exchange of ideas in a non-competitive environment.

Film shwocase Kino na Hranici intends to presene Czech and Slovak culture, especially the cienmatography, but also music.

Festival of African, Asian, Latin American and Eastern European cinema with friends. Isola cinema was conceived as a festival in the deepest sense of this word, a lively gathering of creators and visitors of the film art. There will be many interesting places in Izola: Open Air Cinema, Cinema camping site, Night beach with video projections on the beach, Merry Camera (video workshop).

The main goal of the festival is to show the audience a modern European film, the most interesting film directors with a special attention to young film creators.

Kino Ikon is a specialized Slovak magazine about film theory, history a aesthetics. It is a space for Slovak critics, origin theoretic texts and translations of foreign film studies.

kino5 - platform for independent filmmakers Every month Kino5 offers young and independent filmmakers the opportunity to project their films on screen. At these screenings, filmmakers, DOPs, musicians, sound engineers and the audience meet to exchange ideas and start new projects... Once a year they host KinoDynamique: Austrian and international filmmakers meet in Vienna to produce and project short films within 60 hours. Throughout the year Kino5 organises workshops and air a 30-minute TV show on Okto. kino5 is part of the international "Kino" movement with its origin in Montreal/Canada (www.kino00.com) and Austrian representative of the European NISI MASA - network.

The showcase is organized by cultural centre Stanica, the Spots project and cinema Biograf.
