Mainframe Production has recently produced feature JUST BETWEEN US, documentary film VILAGE WITHOUT WOMEN and short film WELCOME, also provided production services for several feature films and commercials shot on locations in Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia. A new international festival of creative documentary film (founded 2010). It focuses on: stimulation of creative dialogue between the authors and the audiences and creation of stimulating environment for the creation and showing of works by Macedonian professionals and amateurs in the documentary field.

Making Movies is a Finnish production company based in Helsinki. Established in 1996 the company produces fiction and documentary films. The founding members and shareholders of Making Movies are Kai Nordberg and Kaarle Aho. Since 1996 Making Movies has produced more than 50 documentaries, numerous short films and two feature films. The films produced by Making Movies have been broadcasted in more than 30 countries. Making Movies’ last feature film “Black Ice” (2007), was selected to the official competition of Berlinale 2008.

Europanet, active from July 2002, aims at providing promotional services for European films. Europanet identifies films entering the production stage, establishes contact with the producers and arranges the shooting of a making of film.

The Malaga Festival was founded in 1998. The Festival aims to further the distribution and promotion of the Spanish audio-visual industry. The Malaga Festival, the leading Spanish film festival, is organised by Malaga City Council, and supported by producers and authors, and the main television broadcasters, with the support of the MEDIA Plus Programme. In 2005, 1000 professionals, 800 journalists and 110,000 spectators attended the Festival.

The main goal of the International Week of Fantastic Film of Málaga is to present an international selection of feature and short films focusing on fantastic genre in all its variants: fantasy, science fiction, and horror. The festival programme comprises of the following sections: 1 Panorama; 2 Spanish Short Films; 3 International Short Films; 4 Andalusian Short Films.

Malescorto - International Short Film Festival is divided into three main sections: Fiction, Maleskids (child actors) and Documentary. All foreign and Italian short films that present children as theme or protagonists or authors can compete in the Maleskids section. Submissions must be no less than 2 and no more than 20 minutes long apart from the documentary category which may last up to 30 minutes. For each category a maximum of twelve works will be chosen.

BUFF - The Malmö International Film Festival for Children and Young People is divided into the following sections: 1 International Competition - eight feature films; 2 Panorama Programme - features, shorts, animations and documentaries; 3 Nordic Programme - features, shorts, animations and documentaries; 4 Forum Programme - closed screenings for film professionals only.

The Mammut Film was founded in 2006. It is a production company composed by 5 people who have been working in the film making business for more than ten years. Moreover, they have a wide rage of professional experiences starting from the documentary field, going through theater ending in the direction and organitation of events.

The International Cinematographers Film Festival “Manaki Brothers” in Bitola is organized by the Macedonian Film Professionals Association (MFPA). Each year, the ICFF “Manaki Brothers” is held in Bitola under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Macedonia and is supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia. The main part of the Festival’s program belongs to Camera 300 – the Official Competition of Long Feature Films from the most recent European and world production. The cinematographers of these films contend for the Golden, Silver and Bronze Camera 300, awarded by the Festival’s International Jury. Beside the Official Competition, the Festival shows a Short Film Program that is non-competitive. In addition, the Student Program “Manaki Brothers” is dedicated to young, talented filmmakers. Within the frame of the festival program are also workshops, seminars, and roundtables.

The Festival of Fantastic Films takes place every year in Manchester. Apart from screening a wide range of horror, thriller, fantasy and sci-fi films, the programme offers discussions, panels, amateur and independent short film competitions, a film fair and auctions.
