Revolver Film is a privately owned production company producing documentaries, fiction films and TV commercials since 2005. Estonian Film Foundation, Estonian Cultural Foundation, and Estonian National Television have supported all 4 of our documentaries. We are currently completing a short fiction film and two feature screenplays with the support of Estonian Film Foundation.

Reykjavik films was founded in 2002 and the companies main focus is production of films, drama and documentaries.

RIFF takes place every year in late September for eleven days. The festival shows a wide range of dramas and non-fiction films from over 40 countries. The festival highlights independent filmmaking from all over the world with an emphasis on up-and-coming filmmakers. RIFF encourages the interaction of film with other art forms by organizing concerts, photo exhibitions and more. The festival also manages the RIFF industry office, complete with a video library, information and guest services, and co-organizes networking meetings and dinners for the attending professionals. RIFF was founded in September 2004, by a small group of film professionals and film enthusiasts led by Festival Director Hrönn Marinósdóttir, with the goal of presenting new and progressive quality films, supporting innovation in filmmaking, networking between professionals from various parts of the world and fostering social and cultural dialogue.

The annual Reykjavik Shorts & Docs Festival started in 2002 and highlights the best films in these categories from the Nordic region and Europe. The festival is run by the Icelandic Filmmakers Association. The programme also includes seminars and meetings with industry professionals.

REZINA Productions is a cinema production company raised by Bernard et Hervé Tanguy in 2002 with the help from Nord-Ouest Production (Christophe Rossignon, Benoît Jaubert and Philip Boëffard). REZINA produces short-films from a small team of authors/directors. The next step is to help those authors/directors to evolve to feature films development. In addition to this, REZINA might co-produce other feature films in cooperation with other production companies.

Rezolution Pictures International is an award-winning Aboriginal-owned film and television Production Company that plays a vital role in bringing cultural diversity to Canada’s broadcasting landscape. Rezolution Pictures International has built a reputation for excellence since its formation in 2001. Today, it’s one of Canada’s leaders in social issue documentary filmmaking, with a library of outstanding documentary productions, covering subjects as diverse as contemporary Aboriginal culture, environmental protection, gay parenting and more.

The Rotterdam Film Fund aims at stimulating and strengthening the audio-visual industry in the Rotterdam region. It does so by providing financial support (interest free loan) for feature films, documentaries and television drama productions which are produced, or partly produced in this region. Foreign producers need a co-producer based in Rotterdam. The Rotterdam Commission offers free assistance with locations, facilities, local crew and permits.

In the last years the Rhinoceros Production has made documentary programs in several national commercial and public televisions (TV2, Hungarian Television etc.). Beside that with its films it permanently present in the competition programs of the Hungarian Film Festival. Its 2005 production titled as “Budapest End Station” was the most frequently visited competition documentary of the 2005 Film Festival. The profile of the production office covers first of all documentaries, magazine programs and other forms of documentaries for television. Its speciality is the pragmatic method the presentation of social problems which can be hardly disclosed (regardless of the risks owing to them) and making fashionable in Hungary the new trends operating on the Western markets. It has dealt a lot with drug addicts, Romas, special crimes, homeless people, with political abuses and other painful social problems. Beside that it has participated in programs assigned for the general public of commercial televisions taking care scrupulously not to go under certain level. Also as a complementary activity it helps the PR and communication of the significant companies on the market. Recently it has established an archive collecting and making a catalogue of the documentary and data materials of the changes of the past sixteen years in Hungary. Rhinoceros Production Ltd. uses the Pesty Black Box logo and brand during its activity. The policy and mission statement of the company is as follows: we make films and programs only about really important problems in a way understandable for the whole society.

The Festival was created and is produced by the non-profit Flickers Arts Collaborative. Held at venues around Providence, RIIFF features screenings, filmmaking workshops, meet-and-greet industry events and seminars. Aiming to promote Rhode Island as a filmmaking location and to celebrate the independent filmmaking spirit, it also hosts a number of high-profile premieres and provides a showcase for international features, documentaries and shorts. RIIFF is one of 75 nominating Festivals in the Short Film Division sanctioned by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Official festival selections are eligible for many awards: Best Short, Best Feature, Best Documentary, Kodak Vision Award Best Cinematography, Best Experimental, Best Screenplay (Film Production), Best Local Film, New Director, The Video Transfer Providence Film Festival Award ($2,500 in services) AVID's Student Filmmaking Achievement Award, Viola M. Marshall Audience Choice Awards.

The society is financed by the Regional council and by the CNC. Its mission is to fund full-length productions that are made in the region (co-production investment), to ensure the accessibility and distribution of films across the region, and to contribute to the vitality of local culture.

Studio Filmowe Rabarbar (Rhubarb Film Studio) is a rapidly developing film studio that specializes in production of feature films, documentaries but also drama series and TV shows for kids and teens in particular. It was set up in 2006 by Anna Bławut-Mazurkiewicz who has been working in film business since 2004. As a law graduate (University of Wrocław, Law/ European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder), EU Law/ Jagiellonian University, Postgraduate Programme on Copyright, Editorial and Press Laws), she worked at first in the field of copyright laws in media. Having gained experience at different stages of documentary and feature film production, she later became an independent production manager, and finally a producer. In 2008 she was awarded "The Silver Lions" of 33rd Polish Film Festival in Gdynia for the producer of the film "Before Twilight" (original Polish title: "Jeszcze nie wieczór").

Ri Filme has set as its goal to raise awareness towards gender-aspects in the field of production of film and television. It is part of a non-profit-initiative that serves as a home base for female film-professionals who contribute their resources – be it capabilities, know-how, work-force, material and equipment … – into the structure in order to develop projects to an extent so they can be realized with funds, sponsors and other financiers. Ri Filme provides a gender aware atmosphere in which films by women, about female habitat and from a female point of view can be developed.
