SRG SSR idée suisse is the Swiss public broadcasting organisation, founded in 1931. SRG SSR is a non-profit organisation, funded mainly through radio and television licence fees (70%) and making the remaining income from advertising and sponsorship. The Swiss public broadcaster SRG SSR idée suisse offers seven television channels, in addition to programming in Romansh: three German-language channels from Schweizer Fernsehen (SF); two French-language channels from Télévision Suisse Romande (TSR); two Italian-language channels from Televisione svizzera di lingua italiana (TSI); programming on SF 1 in Romansch from Televisiun Rumantscha (TvR). SRG SSR also offers 16 radio stations.

SSA protects the rights of authors and collects fees related to the use of works in the field of theatre, opera, musical, choreography, one-man show, film, television, new media, etc.

SSFV - Schweizer Syndicat Film und Video is an association of Swiss film professionals and actors / actresses from the German-speaking regions of Switzerland. The association was created in 1974 and wants to improve work conditions of its members.

The Swiss Association of Studio Films (SSV) unites distributors and cinemas, who strongly enforce the dissemination of independent, in particular Swiss, European and Trikont film-making. The term "Studio Film" stands for high quality films in content and message as well as the storytelling.

St.George Bank BIFF is the premier film event in Queensland. Each year it draws film enthusiasts to view an entertaining mix of local and international films, retrospectives and colourful events. AKM is the oldest and biggest copyright society in Austria. AKM offers services to lyricists and composers of musical works as well as to musical publishers and organizers of public performances and broadcasters: the authors of musical works and their publishers can easily receive the royalties for public performance and broadcasting of their works from AKM (the so-called mechanical rights are administered by the copyright society Austro-Mechana).

Stamen Film&NewMedia is a television production company, specialized in the creation and production of entertainment formats, TV series and documentaries. We work on interactive formats, focused on entertainment to be broadcasted on different media (DTT, mobile phones, the internet, DVD). During its first year of activity, Stamen Film&NewMedia has produced for Cult Network Italia a TV serial about contemporary art, “Factory” (10 episodes, 28 minutes each), and a documentary, “La Biennale delle Arti Nuove” (50 minutes); moreover, Stamen Film has ideated and produced an interactive advertisement for CRAIAT, the research centre of the University of Florence (http://www.craiat.it/spot), and an audio-video interactive product for an University association, the Consorzio Universitario del Piceno.

Stampede is the director-friendly documentary company. In Britain, we have produced films or series for BBC2, BBC4, Channel 4, ITV1 and Five. For our sins we take on one-off international co-productions. We’re currently working with Arte (French/German cultural TV channel), TV2 in denmark, YLE in Finland and SBS in Australia, BBC and Screeneast on Fierce People, a feature documetnary directed by Brasilian Jose Padilha - who, by the way, has just won the Golden Bear at Berlinale for Elite Squad (’Tropa de Elite’). Well done that man! Our recent documentary Inside Hamas was the first exploration of this organisation to really go in deep. It received loads of ‘Picks Of The Day’ here in the UK, where it showed in February. And, as a bonus, we got on the front page of The Spectator and articles in that organ and The Times, Film & Festivals Magazine and The Guardian. Stampede founder and the main Producer (and, at the moment, the compiler of this website!) is Mike Chamberlain. He (I) has Produced or Series Produced over 120 one-off documentaries. For us, the films are the most important thing - whether it is brand new directing or producing talent or experienced directors like Marilyn Gaunt, Rodrigo Vazquez, Andy Lee, Dom Rotheroe or Jose Padilha.

After the success of the films IDLE RUNNING and BREAD AND MILK directors Janez Burger and Jan Cvitkovič established an independent film production company STARAGARA in 2003 with the aim to produce their own films and at the same time enable and support artistic work and development of artistic potential of the people who contribute crucially to the quality of their films. The first film in production of STARAGARA was GRAVEHOPPING, directed by Jan Cvitkovič and produced by Janez Burger. Producer Jožko Rutar joined Staragara in 2004. Since then STARAGARA has expanded its field of activity through international coproductions to production of short, documentary and TV films as well as production of contemporary dance projects, experimental and commercial theatre. We strive to establish a network of long-term coproductions which are not based on short-term interest only but on common artistic affinity. STARAGARA also acts as producer of advertising actions for selected partners.
