RIVER FILM FEST is a significant cultural and social event focussing mainly on the presentation of cinema art in conjunction with other art forms and social sciences. Its distinguishing characteristic is its appeal to both professionals and lay audience alike. Maximum programme quality is achieved by a unique dramaturgical concept which comprises four main programme cycles. These in turn influence the content of the other minor chapters as well as the nature of all non-filmic events.

Submissions for the festival are open exclusively to films from or about India: features, shorts, documentaries and animation films. There is no entry fee. To give our audience a greater vision of India and around, the festival is also open to films coming from Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.

The Rome Independent Film Festival (RIFF) is a non-profit cultural organization whose members include both cinema enthusiasts and industry professionals. A film festival based in Boston, whcih is one of the largest metropolitan areas on the east coast. It continues to showcase and honor the work of emerging and established filmmakers of color and has become the largest festival in New England dedicated to this genre. Since its inception, the festival has welcomed over 30,000 attendees, and we have screened more than 450 films by or about people of color.

The festival's program is made up of the best films by Russian documentary directors, of laureates of international and Russian cinema festivals. The project of the Russian Documentary Film Festival in New York began in 2008 based on the New Review Corporation's initiative.

The Sala Montjuïc Open-air Film Festival non-profit project organized by MODIband cultural association. It takes place every summer, every Wednesday and Friday night for five weeks in the gardens of the Montjuïc Castle (Barcelona). The programme includes old classics as well as more recent films from all around the world.

Salaam DK is a multicultural film festival for the pupils in basic schools. The project was developed in Copenhagen and is jointly run by the Danish Film Institute, the National Museum, the Politiken newspaper and the Educational Resource Centre in Copenhagen.

SCENECS is an international film festival that gives room to new directors and producers for their first or second production and for their further development. SCENECS differentiates itself from other film festivals by its "Debut formula". The Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), held annually in Seattle, Washington, is purported to be the largest film festival in the United States and among the top film festivals in the world. The annual SIFF runs for three weeks and features a diverse assortment of predominantly independent and foreign films and, in recent years, a strong contingent of documentaries. Over the years, the SIFF audiences have developed a reputation for appreciating films that did not fit standard industry niches. The festival includes a sidebar that is probably unique among major film festivals: a four-film Secret Festival. Those who attend the Secret Festival do not know in advance what they will see, and they must sign an oath that they will not reveal afterwards what they have seen.

Over two days, the SEE Festival offers an eclectic mix of documentary films and a variety of discussions. The SEE Festival also organizes a free pitching session for emerging filmmakers.

The festival is organized by the students from the audiovisual sciences department at the Konrad Wolf Film Academy.
