EAVE Ties That Bind will bring together 10 film producers from Asian and European countries. Each producer will be selected together with a feature film project in development and will work with leading industry experts from both continents during the two workshops. Amongst a range of issues, sessions will focus on script development, co-production between Asia and Europe, financing in the two regions, marketing and promotion, and the legal aspects of co-production. The workshop participants will work together as a group, as well as through individual consultation, and will have the unusual opportunity to get to know each other very well with the object of forming long term creative and business partnerships and networks. The programme will culminate in Busan in October 2013 with meetings between the participants and leading Asian and European funders and sales agents during the Asian Project Market.

THE ENGINE ROOM PITCH is a unique 2 day project development and pitching workshop for documentary filmmakers and factual cross-platform creative’s seeking UK and international commissions, co-production and market intelligence. It is also an exceptional networking opportunity. Created by leading international pitch trainer Christina Burnett of Wide Eye Pictures, THE ENGINE ROOM pitch formats have been successful in Ireland, Brazil and Abu Dhabi as well as the UK.

The post-production stage is becoming ever more challenging due to constantly changing technology and the fact that co-production requirements split up the post-production process. The European Post Production Connection (EP2C) is a post-production management course for producers and professionals involved in post-production, initiated by Belgian producers Diana Elbaum and Sebastien Delloye and supported by the MEDIA Programme.

In bringing together international film talents, the éQuinoxe workshops aim to create a greater cultural diversity in film.

The independent association éQuinoxe Germany was founded in Berlin in spring 2001 and understands itself as an ambassador and supporter of German–speaking filmmakers on an international level. éQuinoxe Germany, since 2001, is in charge of the pre–selection of German–speaking script projects for the international screenwriters' workshops. In 2004, the organization became additionally responsible for the pre–selection of projects from Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia and hosting the screenwriters« workshops.

MIDPOINT is an international script development training program for graduating students and recent graduates which aims to support writer, director and producer in the development process. MIDPOINT was conceived at FAMU Prague (CZ) in partnership with film schools VŠMU Bratislava (SK), PWSFTviT Łódź (PL), UNATC Bucharest (RO) and SZFE Budapest (HU). Throughout the year, MIDPOINT also organizes miniMIDPOINT workshops in its partnering countries as well as the Training the Trainers workshop for young teachers of screenwriting. It also offers master classes to students and professional audiences in the area of film dramaturgy.

Festival dei Popoli offers competitive and information sections with documentary films produced for cinema and television on sociological, political, anthropological, economic, folklore and ethnographical issues.

The Film Business School - Latin America is a four-day project based workshop on financing coproductions between Europe and Latin America and the legal structures related to these processes. The FBS-LA aims to maximize the opportunities for interaction, consultation, feedback and training between a selected group of Latin American and European producers and a team of influential senior industry professionals and executives. Its aim is to accelerate the career progress of these selected film producers who have demonstrated success in their domestic markets and now want to make the transition to larger films, aimed at a truly international audience and increase the number of co-productions between the two regions.

In cooperation with the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the Austrian Foreign Ministry, we organize this conference, dealing with different subjects (economy, transport, security etc.) concerning the future creation of a Danube Cluster. EU XXL FILM will organize a spezial workshop with the title "Film Economy in the Danube Region".

Explore the roles of the Producer, Production Manager (UPM) and Assistant Director (AD). Examine the procedures, attitudes, techniques and paperwork needed to plan and run a large or small film production. You will scout locations, break down a feature film script, create a production board, shooting schedule, “day-out-of-days,” and film budget. Over the course of 3 intensive days, you'll be taught by Tom Kane, a highly successful film producer, who has 30 years experience in the "business" and over 50 feature and television films and TV series to his credit.

FOCAL, founded in 1990, is an umbrella organisation which aims to develop and promote creative, technical and entrepreneurial skills among professionals in the areas of film, audiovisual arts and new media. Our further training programme encompasses all the elements in the production process: screenwriting and project development, production, markets and rights, directing, grip-work, photography, sound and lighting, multimedia and new technologies, postproduction, animation, distribution and exhibition as well as film criticism and theory.

The Go Short Student Campus is organised by Breaking Ground and the Go Short International Film Festival. This annual event offers European film students six days of the most interesting lectures, meetings with professionals, the most informative workshops, wonderful short films and unforgettable parties in the city of Nijmegen, the Netherlands.

Greenhouse is a unique programme for the development of documentary films aimed for Mediterranean filmmakers from Jordan, Algeria, the Palestinian Authority, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Israel, Syria, Lebanon & Turkey. Greenhouse is a yearly programme hosting 10-12 projects each round. The selected filmmakers are invited to participate in three seminars in which they will develop a full international production file and a professional trailer which will be presented in a pitching forum in front of international commissioning editors, film funds directors, producers and distributors from the documentary international market.

During the camp, through an interaction with the local community, 20 students from all over the world will shoot four documentary films. The film camp is designed for students of production, directing, cinematography, sound design and editing who already have previous documentary making experience (at least one documentary project) and who are fluent in English. In addition to practical filmmaking, there will be three workshops which involve the topic of production and directing of documentaries and which are organized by film lecturers both from our country and abroad. The Encounters Programme is organized in cooperation with embassies of the countries involved in order to present their specific music, film, dance, poetry, traditional food, etc. The organizers provide food, accommodation, film materials and equipment (Mini DV).

International Documentary Masterclass INTERdoc is organized by the Independent Film Centre Filmart. The programme includes various lectures and accompanying activities.

Kino Praha is a non-profit organization founded by young, enthusiast film makers in 2011 and is part of the world wide network of the “Kino” movement. The main objectives of Kino Praha include organizing Kino Kabarets and international film seminars, lectures, conferences and film screenings, establishing cooperation between Czech and international film organizations, training courses, attending international youth exchanges, and also short-term and long-term volunteering projects with the audiovisual theme etc. “Kino Kabaret” is a film making workshop lasting several days, which gathers film makers from all over the world to create short, low budget (or no budget) films. Under one roof you will find amateur and professional film makers with diverse professions, nationalities, ages and gender all creating films with almost no financial means! The emphasis is on effort, creativity, enthusiasm and having a healthy dose of fun. Which is made possible by mutual help and exchange of ideas in a non-competitive environment.

kino5 - platform for independent filmmakers Every month Kino5 offers young and independent filmmakers the opportunity to project their films on screen. At these screenings, filmmakers, DOPs, musicians, sound engineers and the audience meet to exchange ideas and start new projects... Once a year they host KinoDynamique: Austrian and international filmmakers meet in Vienna to produce and project short films within 60 hours. Throughout the year Kino5 organises workshops and air a 30-minute TV show on Okto. kino5 is part of the international "Kino" movement with its origin in Montreal/Canada (www.kino00.com) and Austrian representative of the European NISI MASA - network.

kino5 Vienna and FILM e.V. Jena would like to invite you to the first KinoKabaret (=KinoDynamique) in Jena, Germany. The theme will be `Global Dimensions´. And the slogan is `Do well with nothing, do better with little, but do it right now´ There will be three sessions of 60 hours each, with screenings on the 26th and 29th of September and on the 2nd of October. After the last screening on 2nd October there will be a final public event, which is planned to be a common ground, open for discussions among the filmmakers, the organisers and the audience.
