Geert Vanvaerenbergh founded Congoo NV in 2008. We are a Belgian production company specialising in international co-productions and high-end documentaries for television, cinema, DVD and multi-media platforms. The company also produces corporate videos and will soon be expanding in the domain of television drama, games and entertainment. The company is active in the field of media-management training and -education by organizing post-graduate courses and also by being available for tutoring and moderating during international documentary workshops and pitching sessions. In April 2012 Congoo NV has expanded its management team to include Paul Pauwels as managing partner. Paul Pauwels brings with him 25 years of experience in the field of international co-production and media training. The company entertains the best professional relations with an extensive list of successful directors, producers, executive producers and commissioning editors in European media, many of them having created award-winning films but the company is also dedicated to invest in young filmmakers, as a creative investment for the future. Congoo NV is a member of Flanders Doc, the professional organization of Flemish Documentary filmmakers. Flanders Doc unites creative forces in order to enhance the level of performance, professionalism and globalisation of the Flemish industry. Congoo NV is also a member of the European Documentary Network and Documentary Campus.

CONTRA STUDIO – since 1993 an independent production company of films in Lodz, which during eleven years of existence made a great number of film and television pictures of different kinds (fiction, animated ,documentary ). Among this documentaries films are : documentary triptych A DOOMED TOWN (1996) by Wojciech Maciejewski awarded by The Institute of Lech Walesa for “ non-compromise in seeking the truth and courage in taking up difficult problems” ; H. Our productions stand for authenticity, personal statements and an individual approach. coop99 continues a long lasting cooperation which started at the Vienna Film Academy with international successful short films. coop99 is a limited liability company (Ltd.) following Austrian law. Its' associates are exclusively private individuals. Neither TV associated nor broadcasting companies participate in the company. The company is equally shared by Barbara Albert, Jessica Hausner, Martin Gschlacht and Antonin Svoboda who are associates as well as managing directors of the company.

Copenhagen Bombay was founded in 2006, and is today owned by film producer and CEO Sarita Christensen.
