A|D|A-the Austrian Directors' Association was founded in 1994 as a non-profit organization. Its purpose is to ensure the political, legal and economic interests of Austrian film and tv directors. A|D|A-represents its members with regard to their dealings with all users, distributors and producers of audiovisual works and television broadcasters. A|D|A-has a membership totaling 73 at present and is an active member of the Dachverband der Österreichischen Filmschaffenden (a union of Austrian Film-Creatives).

ACDMC (Associació Catalana per a la Difusió de la Música de Cinema) is a non-profit organization founded in 1994. The aim of ACDMC is to distribute and promote film music. ACDMC members include both professionals and fans who share the passion for soundtracks. ACDMC publishes its own magazine related to film music (Secuencias de música de cine), organizes public debates and conferences, and cooperates with film institutions in Catalonia.

The organization was founded in 1992 by a group of directors in order to create a place for the support and distribution of independent cinema.

Dutch Actors Association brings together film and TV actors from the Netherlands.

The role of the Actors' Benevolent Fund is to care for actors and theatrical stage managers unable to work because of poor health, an accident or frail old age.

The Adam Mickiewicz Institute is a government cultural institution which aims to popularize Polish culture around the world and cooperate on cultural projects with other countries. The Institute (initially called the Centre for International Cultural Cooperation - Adam Mickiewicz Institute, or IAM) was founded in 2000. The Adam Mickiewicz Institute's regular activities include, in particular: developing and updating an integrated system of information on Polish culture, and disseminating that information; creating and collecting various kinds of information and promotional materials as well as making them available to interested persons and organizations; providing foreign cultural representatives, researchers, and specialists from various fields with materials and information on Polish culture; organizing study visits for foreign guests of the Adam Mickiewicz Institute, the Ministry of Culture, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Founded in 1992, Addoc (Association des cinéastes documentaristes) provides a space for encounters and reflection for filmmakers, technicians, and anybody involved in documentary film creation. The association has always had a dual goal. On the one hand, it is concerned with defending author documentaries, from conception to broadcasting. And on the other, it seeks to encourage debate about documentary cinema, encouraging reflection and exchange from experience. The association has a range of activities as diverse as the issues it defends: we organise debates at festivals, and workshops and projections for the public; we also promote the publication of works, and documentary awareness events.

Association of French Cinematographers - Association Française des Directeurs de la Photographie Cinématographique

The Austrian Film Commission (AFC), founded in 1986, is an organization dedicated to promoting Austrian cinema throughout the world. The AFC’s role is to increase awareness of Austrian filmmaking abroad and to support the positioning and release of Austrian films on the international marketplace.

AFIC - Associazione Festival Italiani di Cinema was established in 2004 in order to coordinate the network of film festivals in Italy, with the aim of promoting film culture in the country. AFIC wants to make the festival network more regulated and transparent in order to encourage support from sponsors, funding bodies and the general public.

After Image Productions works in the area of film and cinema since 1988 and initiates and conceptualises events that also incorporate other artistic and scientific disciplines. The discovery and establishment of new venues is an important part of its concept and this includes a nomadic search for motifs and content. Important factors for the form of the events are the discourse with the development of the media and changes in society as well as the use of the analytical gaze of cinema.

The German Documentary Association / AG DOK is the largest professional association of independent producers in Germany, numbering more than 800 members. It is the first and foremost film and media lobbyist for the documentary genre, but is open to representatives from all film genres.

Founded in 1976, Agence Culturelle d'Alsace is a non-profit organization that provides artistic and production resources for the implementation of various projects in the field of performing and visual arts and in the film and audiovisual sector.

L’Agence du court métrage is an association founded in 1983 by a group of professionals (directors, producers and distributors) wanting to improve the uncertain environment that short film industry experienced in the late 1970’s. The aim was to promote and develop the screening of short films in France, in order to have the films recognised as works of art in the true sense of the word. Today L’Agence du court métrage has become a cinema library of some 10,000 films. It is also working on providing the sector with a structure, as well as developing the screening of short films in France and abroad. Now more than ever, it provides a link between those who make short films and those who screen them.

The aim of ADRC is to support country-wide access to cinema, to encourage diversity of cinemas, films and audiences, and to maintain and develop local cinemas. ADRC gives subsidies for the restoration of classic films and for the production of additional prints.

ACM was created in January 1999. ACM activity consists in the promotion and diffusion of short films at film festivals, exhibitions and short film markets, as well as by all potential exhibitors (distributors, television channels, etc.) at worldwide level, without cost to Portuguese producers.

Founded in 1992, Agentura Koniklec is a non-profit association that focuses on efficient practices and the implementation of uncommon environmental projects and programmes.

The Agora Central Europe (Agora CE) civic association was founded in 1998 with the aim of helping to enhance communication between local governments, central government bodies and citizens. Within this effort, the Association pursues consulting, advisory, educational, moderating and other activities. It publishes materials about its work, produces and spreads documentary filmy, etc. It organises public meetings, workshops, social and cultural events, and pursues various other activities including work witch youth, aiming to meet its objectives.
