The Jerez Film Commission is a council office which provides a wide range of free services to aid audiovisual production in Jerez. The aim of the commission is to make things as easy as possible for film and TV production companies and thus promote the audiovisual industry both in and around Jerez.

Kakanien revisited is a platform for interdisciplinary CE and SEE studies and networking. The platform has been founded in 2001 and is supported by the Austrian Ministry for Science and Research (BM.W_F) and the University of Vienna. Articles, essays, book reviews, and materials are published as PDFs with abstracts in two (or more) languages in HTML. Questions, propositions, critique, as well as submissions are welcome at redaktion@kakanien.ac.at. Since its implementation in 2001 Kakanien revisited went through different phases of design, programming, functions and activities.

The Department of Theatre and Film of the Slovak Academy of Science conducts systemic research in the fields of drama, film, radio, and new media. It deals with issues in the theory of dramatic arts and the history of Slovak theatre and film in the context of European development. The Department publishes the Slovak Theatre (Slovenske divadlo) quarterly on the issues of theatre, film, radio, and television. It organizes academic conferences and publishes academic literature.

The Kinematograf bratří Čadíků is a company that runs 14 mobile cinemas, including an open-air cinema in Prague. The cinemas screen exclusively Czech films.

Kinoteka is a meeting place for the film and its history, and to enhance detection of curiosity and creativity, to extend the boundaries of film art. Kinokatedra, special educational offshoot Kinoteky, standing in the field of film art with different parties and different approaches. Notes Kinoteky goals - the dissemination and promotion of film culture and knowledge, opening new perspectives, integration with other regional films and promote creativity.

Fields of activities: Regular screenings of films distributed in Slovakia for the press, awarding the Film Criticism Prize and the Prize of Film Journalists, participation in film festival juries, organization of seminars and film reviews.

The purpose of the Circle is to safeguard the professional interest of its members, especially the freedom and ethics of film criticism and film journalism and to promote Dutch film culture.

KODA is a Danish society that administers Danish and international copyrights for composers, songwriters and music publishers, when their musical works are performed in public. Through agreements with approximately 30,000 Danish composers, songwriters and music publishers together with reciprocal contracts with foreign sister societies, KODA represents almost the total world repertoire of protected music in Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. KODA is in charge of the administration of the public performing rights, but has transferred the mechanical rights to the jointly owned Nordic society, Nordisk Copyright Bureau (NCB).

The Cologne Film House is an association founded in 1981 by Cologne cinema professionals and amateur film enthusiasts (350 members). The association focuses on the following activities and services: Kölner Filmhaus cinema that specializes in New European cinema, debuts, independent and documentary films| providing information and advice in the area of film production| training and education - Filmhaus offers a range of workshops (film production, cinematography, sound, lighting, screenwriting, etc.) and rents out film equipment| finally, the association also organizes the Short Cuts Cologne Film Festival.

Kopiosto is a copyright organization for authors, publishers and performing artists. Kopiosto administers licenses and distributes remunerations to copyrights owners. Kopiosto represents over 46 000 Finnish copyrights owners who belong to 45 member organizations representing authors, photographers, performing artists and publishers in all fields of creative work.

The Kosovo Cinematographic Center (Qendra Kinematografike e Kosovës) is an institution with attributes of the central authority for cinematography. The Kosovo Cinematographic Center has targeted the implementation of policies in the field of cinematography that reflect the public interest. The Center has the competence to manage the film fund and oversees its effective use.

The activity of the Krakow Film Foundation, which began in 2003, focuses mainly on the organization of two important film events: the Krakow Film Festival, the Krakow Film Market and co-organization of Dragon Forum – documentary pitching held during the Krakow Film Festival. In 2006 KFF created Film Promotion Agency which promotes Polish documentary, animated and short films in Europe and in the world. The next year KFF introduced a new project called Polish Docs which main aim is offering a set of new Polish documentaries to film professionals and preparing promotional events at major documentary festivals and markets. In 2009 KFF was awarded the Polish Film Institute Prize for international promotion of Polish film.

Centre for Visual Communications KVADRAT is a film production and education firm. It is run by Svetlana and Zoran Popovic, both film directors, producers and professors. KVADRAT first started documentary workshops for film students and young film makers during nineties in former Yugoslavia. Since 1994 more then one hundred short documentaries have been made. Some of these films were among the most succesful in Serbian film production on national and international festivals in the last decade. KVADRAT’s activities influenced contemporary Serbian productions and aesthetic of young Serbian documentary makers. KVADRAT became one of the first members of EDN (European Documentary Network) from Serbia. In collaboration with the first director of EDN, Mr. Tue Steen Muller, and Sava Centar, KVADRAT has started the first European feature documentary film festival in Serbia – The Magnificent Seven - in 2005.

La Fàbrica de Cinema Alternatiu was founded in September 1992 as a natural reaction against traditional film institutions. It was the initiative of directors, producers and other professionals from the audiovisual sector. La Fàbrica was constituted as a non profit-making association. La Fàbrica's principal aim is to support and promote innovative film and audiovisual work by creating a necessary space for screening, learning, debate and reflection. La Fàbrica de Cinema Alternatiu organizes different activities throughout the year: l'Alternativa Barcelona Independent Film Festival, the internet portal IFN and l'Alternativa Takes a Trip, itinerant film programmes made up of films screened at the Festival, and shown nationally and internationally.

LabforCulture works with and for artists, arts and culture organisations and networks, cultural professionals and audiences in the 50 countries of Europe, as well as providing a platform for cultural cooperation between Europe and the rest of the world. Our mission is both to ensure that all those working on cultural collaboration have access to up-to-the-minute information and to encourage the cultural sector to become more experimental with online technologies. We provide: Information, research and analysis related to cultural cooperation, including funding opportunities, critical perspectives, research, news, and contacts (organisations and networks); Online networking tools to enable and strengthen the capacity for cultural collaboration within the cultural sector; Promotion of the players engaged in cultural cooperation and their activities across Europe and beyond; Spaces for connections, exchanges and knowledge sharing between organisations and individuals; Platforms for discussion and discourse on current issues affecting the cultural sector. LabforCulture offers also Young Researchers Forum, an online space to share, collaborate, network and reflect. It aims to strengthen the community of young researcher’s so their work is peer to peer supported and more accessible in the wider research community.

The Archive was founded in 1963 on the basis of the collection of the Department of the photo-documents of Latvia State Historical Archive. The depositories of the Archive contain approximately 24 thousand films dated from 1910 till nowadays. The Archive keeps more then 508 thousand photo records, the first one being dated from 1865. The number of sound recordings exceeds a little bit more than and 30 thousand units. The collection is constantly increasing due to the close co-operation with mass media of Latvia and other producers of audio-visual records.

The Latvian Film Producers Association has as a members the biggest film production companies which produces more than half of Latvian films. Together with Latvian Filmmakers Union, it unites almost all Latvian Filmmakers. It cooperates with the National Film Centre.

Latvian Filmmakers Union is a nation-wide public organization uniting professional filmmakers and craftsmen. Its main objective is to represent and defend their professional and social interests. Almost 40 years this organization unites the Latvian filmmakers. Many of them have been awarded in domestic and international film festivals. To avoid hurting their self-respect, they are mentioned in the abstract alphabetic order: Aloizs Brencs, Hercs Franks, Talivaldis Margevics, Ivars Seleckis, Davis Simanis, Janis Streics. The late Juris Podnieks and Andris Slapins also were members of the Filmmakers Union.

Fields of activities: Collective administration of rights of authors of literary, dramatic, music-dramatic, choreographic, audiovisual works, works of visual arts and photography.
