The purpose of the Lithuanian Film Center (LFC) is to promote Lithuanian cinematography. The website is run by the Lithuanian Film Promotion and Information Agency that is funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania and The Foundation of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania. The principal goal of LFC is to collect information about Lithuanian film artists and provide the latest news about Lithuanian cinema. These goals are reflected in the structure of the website with a news and events section updated on a regular basis and an ever-expanding database offering comprehensive information about people professionally associated with Lithuanian film.

The Albanian Cineastes Association "Lumiere", created in 2000, is one of the most active professional associations in the country. Among the founders of the new society are internationally renowned artists such as director Kujtim Cashku and Petrit Beci, the former the director of the National Center of Cinema and the actual General Director of the Public Television. “Lumiere” has focus its efforts to protect the rights of the filmmakers in the country and to develop the Albanian Cinematography.

Macedonian Film Fund was established 2006 in order to provide comprehensive funding for the Macedonian film industry in its cultural and economic aspects as well as to further develop the traditions of Macedonian cinematography. Formed by the Government, the Film Fund is a legal entity under the Film Fund Act and its registered office is located in Skopje, officially begun working in 2008. Film funding aims at supporting the development, production and distribution of Macedonian films, which have a potential to likely achieve audience approval and international recognition, thereby enhancing the quality and cultural identity of Macedonian film productions, but also improving on economic viability and overall autonomy of Macedonian cinema.

The Madrid Film Commission provides all the information required by national and international audiovisual producers in order to film in the region of Madrid. The basic objective of the Madrid Film Commission is to draw national and international audiovisual productions to the advantages offered by the Madrid audiovisual industry. The commission assists in processing and speeding-up of filming permits, provides information about professionals, production companies and services, and offers assistance with location search.

MEDEA Collaborative Media Initiative is a centre for new media at Malmö University. Our work is built on co-production where academic researchers work together with other actors outside the university: companies, organizations, institutions and individuals.

Established in 1997, the Media Council for Children and Youth replaced Film Censorship and maintains the protection of children and youth in relation to the film industry. The Media Council is responsible for labelling of films and videos in Denmark, and during the last years it has also strongly engaged itself in children’s use of the Internet and computer games on which a labelling system has also been lately imposed.

MEDIA Desk Croatia is a promotion and information office for the European Commission's MEDIA Programme that offers a wide variety of funding for film and television, from training through development and distribution to markets, events and festivals. MEDIA Desk Croatia is hosted by the Croatian Audiovisual Centre. It offers advice and answers enquiries from Croatian film and TV professionals, explaining various funding strands and eligibility criteria.

Media Education Centre is an Belgrade based NGO dealing with Serbian young people. It focuses on film and photography education of the youth.

The non-governmental organization Media Institute (MI) is an independent research and educational institution based in Bratislava. Its activities are focused on the reflection of the Slovak media market, on theoretical research and creating of media related information database concerning developments in Slovak as well as in European media and communications. In cooperation with professionals from diverse fields, Media Institute produces analyses based on surveys provided by external subjects. These outputs are available for professional public, for other non-profit organisations, for state based institutions as well as for students of media related courses.

Media Plan is the first private, independent organization on media development in Bosnia-Herzegovina, founded in 1995 in Sarajevo. Today, Media Plan is an institution with a lot of experience in media research, education of professionals, online information and different communication projects. Media Plan implements projects in all countries of South East Europe.

The MEDIA Unit of EACEA /Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency/ is responsible for: preparing and launching calls for proposals (or tenders), evaluating and pre-selecting applicants and projects, preparing and signing project agreements, monitoring projects (intermediate reports, final reports), communicating with and informing beneficiaries, on the spot checks. Mediacentar Sarajevo is an organization that provides support to development of independent and professional journalism in Bosnia and Herzegovina. From its founding to date MC organized more than 230 different training programs in the areas of journalism and media education attended by more than 2,000 people from B-H and region. Over time MC expanded its activities to include: publishing, media research, public relations training and consulting, video/audio production, organization of various cultural events.Mediacentar was founded in 1995 in Sarajevo by Open Society Fund of B-H. In 2000 it was registered as a separate education and research institution owned by Open Society Fund of B-H

Since 1983 Mediamatic has been active as a cultural institution. Mediamatic is interested in cultural developments that go hand in hand with new technologies, and new technologies that cause cultural developments. They do exhibitions, presentations, workshops and other activities in Amsterdam and internationally. Mediamatic workshops are open to everyone who wants to explore new developments in urban farming, interactive media and much more.

Mediateca Regionale Toscana is a cultural foundation whose main purpose is to promote multimedia, audiovisual and cinematic languages. Since its founding, in 1984, Mediateca Regionale Toscana has been developing audiovisual and multimedia communication, offering a large multimedia library to students, teachers, other libraries, agencies and institutions. Mediateca Regionale Toscana also takes care of educational and social activities, as well as Tuscan culture and traditions. Finally it produces documentaries about Tuscan landscapes and it promotes cultural events in Tuscany.

The organization aims to enable and to facilitate French distribution of films from Asia, Africa and South America.

mediawatch-uk provides independent and principled opinion and research on harm and offence issues in the media. We publish newsletters, reports on the portrayal of violence, bad language and sexual conduct, briefings on film classification, content regulation and the public interest.

Mediawave International visual arts foundation was established by independent organizations and associations, with the following goals in mind: the annual organisation of the Mediawave International Festival of Visual Arts, Györ in the last week of April and The Ladybird Festival and Camp of Folk Traditions, Mediawave Visual Arts Camp which includes also international films, to operate the Mediawave 2000Ltd. for the production of documentary, feature and experimental films and videos as well as video commercials, to archive all productions entered in the Mediawave Festivals, to support Hungarian visual arts events in neighbouring countries.

Berlin-Brandenburg is Germany’s film capital, the Medienboard its regional fund. We support films in the categories of script development, project development, production, distribution and sales, and other activities. At the Medienboard, funding decisions are at the discretion of the managing director. Funding consultants participate in the decision making process and handle all client relations. Our overall annual investment, across the range of projects, is approximately 28 million Euros, including various national and international documentary projects.

The Mediterranean Film Institute (MFI) is a specialised training organisation. Established in 1998, it has become a center for activities that bring together emerging screenwriters and directors from Europe and the Mediterranean region, teachers of cinema and accomplished professionals from the film industry. MFI is developing this initiative into a permanent center of continuous training for emerging European film talent, doing so in the land - and in an environment - that originally gave birth to Drama. Furthermore, it strives to create a meeting forum for European film professionals, which would be able to facilitate a creative interchange for re-addressing and re-discovering dramatic narrative technique, and for further elaborating on issues of contemporary cinematic narrative and dramaturgy. MFI Script Workshops is one of the most dynamic and successful screenwriting programs in Europe.
