The Armenian Film Foundation was established in 1979 as a non-profit, educational and cultural organization dedicated to the documentation and preservation of Armenian heritage in multi-media formats. Its primary aim continues to be to inspire pride in, and world-wide recognition of, the Armenian people and their contributions to society, thereby fostering human dignity and enhancing understanding and goodwill between present and future generations of Armenians and other cultures.

Along with a cinema and distribution company, Arsenal – Institute for Film and Video Art provides accompanying intermediation, research and a transfer of knowledge which will be expanded in the future. Arsenal Kino: presents two regular series: Magical History Tour and the new, Berlin-oriented Focus on Potsdamer Platz. Arsenal Transfer: encourages the public discourse on the language, history and future of film through symposia, panel discussions, workshops, lectures and exhibitions. Arsenal Kollektion: consists of some 9,000 works. The film collection documents our concept of film (history) as a “living archive” and encompasses the historical impulses of avant-garde film history as well as current trends in film and video art. Arsenal Distribution: encompasses some 2,000 titles. The distributor emerged from the desire to make the films screened at the Forum accessible to an international audience after the end of the festival. Arsenal Service: offers extensive advising and research possibilities to curators, academics and those interested in film. Arsenal Edition: publishes books and DVDs to accompany the programs of the Institute for Film and Video Art.

Artists' Television Access is a nonprofit, all-volunteer, artist-run, experimental media arts gallery that has been in operation since 1984. ATA hosts a series of film and video screenings, exhibitions and performances by emerging and established artists and a weekly cable access television program.

The Arts Council of Wales is responsible for funding and developing the arts in Wales. It is accountable to the National Assembly for Wales on 1 July 1999 when responsibility was transferred from the Secretary of State for Wales. The Welsh Assembly Government provides it with money to fund the arts in Wales. The Arts Council of Wales works with many partners in carrying out its national responsibility for developing and funding the arts in Wales and advising the Welsh Assembly Government on issues associated with the arts.

ASK - Asociácia slovenských kameramanov - Association of Slovak Cinematographers

The Association of European Cinémathèques (ACE) is an affiliation of over 30 national and regional preservation film archives from all over Europe. Its joint role is to protect the European film heritage and to assure that the audiovisual records of our century survive to be enjoyed and studied for generations to come.

ADEF is a non-profit organisation. It was set up in March 1999. With 21 member companies it stands as the unique representative of the French exporters of feature films, bringing together all the significant active French professionals. Adef is the voice of the French exporters towards the French and the European official organisations. It is supported by the CNC (Centre National de la Cinematographie) and by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ADEF is developing its activities in close cooperation with Unifrance, the society in charge of the promotion of French cinema in the world.

Stowarzyszenie Film 1, 2 was founded in 2005. The association wants to support new directors - authors of their first or second film. The members include directors, scriptwriters, producers, editors etc.

Association for interdisciplinary and intercultural research was founded in 2002 in Zagreb. AIIR was focused on research and act on the basis of cultural spojinicí, while emphasizing the production of urban, social, artistic and scientific redefinition of the broadest scope.

Asociace českých kameramanů - Association of Czech Cinematographers

Association of Czech Film Clubs unites more than 120 film clubs and arthouse cinemas and 20.000 members all across the Czech Republic. Acquisition activities include distribution of 10 new widely acclaimed arthouse films to Czech cinemas every year. ACFC organizes an important event, Summer Film School in Uherské Hradiště, the biggest non-competition film festival in CR, and Project 100 which presents archive and classic films. ACFC provides support to film clubs with their activities and also runs a film archive containing more than 120 active titles and even more film prints. ACFC presents the Annual Award for the Best film of the year and to unique guests of Summer Film School festival. One of the key activities is long-term project Film a skola (Film and School), focused on developing film literacy and supporting Film Education Programmes.

ANEM - A(ssociation) of I(ndependent) E(lectronic) M(edia) is the business association comprised of 28 radio stations and 16 television companies as well as of more than 60 affiliated organizations.

The Association of Estonian Broadcasters (AEB) is a non-profit and non-governmental institution set up to protect the interests of radio and TV broadcasters. It has 19 members : 4 TV organisations, 14 radio organisations, and 1 video production company, which pay monthly fees. The AEB publishes books, carriers out mid-career training and participates in legislative process.

The Association of Film and Television Actors (SAFT) was established in 2001. Its mission is to protect the rights of performing artists and it gathers film and television actors. One of the Association's main aims is the protection of rights and official representation of its members.

The association of Hungarian documentary film directors was founded in 1998. Its objectives are to represent the interests of its own members in documentary filmmaking, as well as those of professional working in film in general. It now has 26 members, who are all active and major filmmakers of documentaries and other television projects. The Association organised a documentary film festival in autumn 2001, which presented the 100 best documentaries of the last 50 years, and published a book in February 2003, which details the last five decades of Hungarian documentarism through the medium of various film studies, documents and illustrations.
