Union of Estonian Cameramen

When the Estonian Society of Film Clubs was established in 1988, there were 40 film clubs operating in Estonia. In the same year, they joined the International Federation of Film Societies. In 1993, the activities of the society subsided due to economic difficulties and gained a fresh impetus in 1998. The main aim of the society is to introduce artistic films to school students.

The Union of Finnish Film and Video Employees is a trade union that bargains the collective labour agreement concerning film production, short films, documentaries and video production.

The aim of UPFF is to represent and enforce the interests of its members and also to support the audiovisual products of its members.

The organization was founded in 1974 and represents the interests of musicians, actors, dancers and variety artists with regards to copyrights and related rights.

US Independents, Inc. is a cooperative venture among U.S.-based independent producers and distributors that seeks to offer to the participants a cost-effective access to international TV video markets, festivals, seminars, and trade events that will help them better promote, market, and sell their products. Gathering under one marketing banner enables producers and distributors to more efficiently and effectively present their productions and projects to the world market.

Fields of activities: The Union associates professionals working in audiovisual production. It represents the professional author’s and ethical interests of its members and seeks means for fighting commercialization of production. It deals with production reporting and criticism, it organizes seminars and workshops, and gives awards. It participates in festivals and reviews, and takes part in the creation of legal regulations applying in audiovisual production.

Värmland Film Commission provides service to the film and television production community, including information and advice on locations and permissions, contacts for cast, crew and facilities, information on accommodation and transport.

VDF - Association of Film Distributors

The Association fosters the interests of German film exporters. At present it has 17 members.

The Veneto Film Commission was set up in 2000 with the aim to promote and coordinate location scouting and other film-related activities, cooperate with regional authorities in the field of audiovisual production, etc.

We aim to fulfill the needs of all the people involved in a film's creation, as well as those who are investing in its development, production and distribution.

Vértigo is an association dedidated to cinema that brings together members of film-related organizations in order to promote and defend the educational role of cinema. The association organizes various educational programmes that promote Spanish cinema, e.g. courses, forums, film screenings, the Iberoamerican Film Festival, etc.

A regional film commission that informs about the film locations in the region and provides other film-related information. The fund supports film and TV productions in the following categories: animation, documentary films, feature film, TV fiction.

Valtion elokuvatarkastamo (VET) is the Finnish Board of Film Classification. VET/SFB is an official institution of the Finnish Ministry of Education. It is responsible for inspecting and rating the content of movies and interactive games.

Association of Film and TV Producers

Verwertungsgesellschaft Bild-Kunst was founded by authors - artists, photographers, filmmakers - for the protection and recognition of their rights.

The Vicenza Film Commission aims to promote the city and all the province, in order to attract both domestic and international film productions and at the same time to develop the film industry in the province, creating new business and job opportunities. The Vicenza Film Commission is also an agency that assists in handling filming permits, search for locations and professionals, etc.

VIDEMA represents the copyright owners of cinematographic works and grants the needed permission on their behalf to the exhibitor.

Supports the long cinematic tradition of the city of Vienna and promotes the city as a film location.

The Vienna Screenwriters Forum emerged from the official lobby of the Austrian sceenwriters, founded in 1989. We represent the interests of screenwriters, we support professional screenwriters and we promote talented newcomers. Our main tasks are dramaturgical advice, providing exchange of information between film producation companies and authors, advice in legal affairs and publishing books on scriptwriting. We also organize workshops, seminars and an annual symposion with guests from the international film sector. Besides we assign each year at the Diagonale festival of Austrian film the Thomas Pluch Screenplay Prize for the best screenplay made into a film by an Austrian author.

Established in 1996 by the European Association of Social Anthropologists, the Visual Anthropology Network aims to cover all aspects of visual anthropology, although the principal interests of its current members focus largely on photography, ethnographic film and multimedia.

The Vivafutura Studio is a non-governmental, non-commercial, voluntary organization set up in Belarus in 2001 by Belarussian directors, philosophers, writers, artists, musicians, painters, as well as other representatives of science and art. The organization functions in Belarus and outside the country. The main goals: to enable the development of art based on cultural foundations, Belarussian history and traditions, and interacts with modern trends of our time; to decommunisate culture; to encourage and sustain the growth of the civic society and rule of law in Belarus by means of creative and cultural activities; to resist any kind of occupation of the cultural space by censorship and political propaganda; to facilitate realization of public and cultural activity initiated by creative foreigners in Belarus and to extend the advertising network of Belarussian culture; to assist in realizing skills and capacities of Belarussian creators who are not able to do so in today’s Belarus because of their democratic political views; to advance the progress of independent democratic culture; to support the democratic movement organizations. Voice of the Listener & Viewer (VLV) represents the citizen and consumer interests in broadcasting, and speaks for listeners and viewers on the full range of broadcasting issues.
