The Arts Institute (Institut umění) was established in January 2005 as an independent department of the Theatre Institute (Divadelní ústav), an organization established and funded by the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. The Arts Institute is an information, advisory, educational and production centre for the arts. The aim of the Arts Institute is to contribute to the promotion of public recognition of the role of the arts and its development. The Institute supports the exchange of information and experience among artistic fields, the presentation and promotion of Czech arts abroad, as well as participates in international projects of cultural cooperation. The Arts Institute ensures and provides information and advisory services for national and regional public authorities, public and non-governmental organizations, as well as the professional cultural public in the field of arts (theatre, music, dance, visual arts, and literature).

Online since November 2001, Artservis is a web-based information resource for artists, theoreticians, and cultural managers who operate with/in Slovenia or abroad. Printed magazine and web page for „Modern Cinefils“. Founded by Prague students of Film Studies, Cinepur has become a unigue platform for a very high-grade film writting covering the wide range of the film production by theoreticall and historical approach. Cinepur is also one of the few Czech film magazines that systematically addresses Documentary or experimental film.

The Cinergie organization runs a website that provides information on Belgian cinema, film professionals and organizations, news and announcements; the site also includes a webzine entirely devoted to Belgian cinema - new films in production, new releases, festivals, events, portraits, etc.

Videos and photos from the diverse collections of the Cineteca di Bologna as well as books and DVD editions are now available online. The amount of materials offered by CINESTORE will increase periodically, and parts of the digitised collections will also be accessible via the EFG.

Server for Bulgarian Art and Culture. Cult.Bg is a portal site and cultural server on the Internet, created and developed to achieve a complete presentation of contemporary art and culture in Bulgaria. It was developed to provide a systematic archive /multimedia database/ of art collections and documentation of all sorts related to arts. The portal is maintained by a Content Manager, responsible for the content development and administration, team of editors in the different areas as visual arts/ music/ cinema, etc., code developer and system administrator. Additionally the project provides a number of free services such as: free hosting for cultural projects and organizations, free e-mail. The portal has a stable audience of approx. 500 visitors per day.
