AQS, a.s. is an independent acquisition company specialized in licencing programs for TV broadcasting, for cinemas and video distribution in the areas of Central and Eastern Europe, particularly in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The company was founded in 1998. Their first client was TV Nova, the strongest Czech commercial TV channel. Rapid growth of the AQS resulted in a very strong acquisition and distribution group emerging around the company. Their activities didn’t concern only acquisition of TV rights, but also film and video distribution. Since its start, the company has gained a reputation of a stable business partner. In Central Europe, it belongs to the most influential and largest companies in the media market. Recently, AQS has also been engaged in production of Czech films.

ARINA Ltd., production company, was established in 2004. ARINA Ltd. was founded on base of more than ten years of working experiences of its founders in the sphere of film, advertisement, television and organizing of social events.

Around the World (ATW) is a Belgrade-based independent production and distribution company that aims to promote new documentary films that are being developed in any part of the world. The company consists of more than a hundred art film lovers: directors, scriptwriters, producers, editors, cinematographers, sound recordists, journalists, art historians, etc. ATW is the founder of Beldocs - Belgrade International Documentary Film Festival.

Production company The Independent company focusing on creative documentary films production. It was found by Marko Škop (director) and Ján Meliš (cinematographer) in 2003. The company´s last completed project is a full-length documentary film for cinema Other Worlds, directed by Marko Škop (2006). It has been awarded the Prize of the Audience and the Special Mention of the Jury at the 41st IFF Karlovy Vary 2006. Artileria has also produced a medium-length documentary Slávnosť osamelej palmy (Celebration of a Lonely Palm), directed by Marko Škop & Juraj Johanides (2005), awarded the Mura d´Oro Prize at the 5th Festival Internazionale del Cinema d´Arte, in Bergamo, 2006. These titles were co-produced with the Slovak Film Institute and the Czech Televison.

atelier.doc was founded in 2002 by Robert Kirchhoff (chairman), Robert Zipser and Braňo Špaček. atelier.doc constitutes a free association of enthusiasts who feel the need to produce documentary films, CDs and books, which they deem as a meaningful and necessary contribution to the cultural scene, its preservation and further development. On top of these activities, the association organizes various artistic, social fora, exhibits and meetings. The main underlying principle of its activities includes the support of the development of alternative projects - especially in the category of films. Alternative Archive is one such undertaking whose aim is, in a systematic fashion and conceptual approach, to reconstruct, preserve and build on memories of the past and present cultural activities and events. Alternative Archive is a database of film footage, video and audio materials with the aim to make them available to the public as well as make for future use by artists and enthusiasts.

Ateliery Bonton Zlin is animation film Production Company and is the administrator of the largest library of Czech feature films and animation rights. The Company holds the rights to almost 1.000 feature and documentary films including the works of Oscar wining directors. Furthermore, ABZ has the most renowned animated film production operation in the Czech Republic that is producing animation based on some of the most popular cartoon and puppet characters in the country.

DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation) is Denmark’s oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. The corporation was founded in 1925 as a public service organisation. DR is an independent, licence financed public institution. DR TV comprises two channels, DR1 and DR2. DR1 was founded in 1951 and DR2 in 1996. Both channels are, from April 2006, broadcasted with full national coverage as free-to-air signals via the new digital terrestrial television (DTT) platform. Broadcast continues on the analogue terrestrial network (with some limitations for DR2) until analogue shut off by end of October 2009. Both channels are must carry on cable, and satellite operators offer both channels in their packages. In addition most of the channels content is freely available on demand as streaming and podcast on the Internet (and to a smaller degree to mobile phones).

Exitfilm is Estonian based production company founded in 1992, owned by Peeter Urbla (producer/ director) and Zentropa ApS – Denmark. Exitfilm is working closely with the local funds, film community and especially with young talents.
