The programme of Bunter Hund includes the International Competition, the Trash Night, and an annually alternating special programme. The festival is open for current short film productions from all over the world, and for all categories (maximum length 20 minutes).

BUS brings together professionals who are active in the field of fine arts, sculpture, graphic design, illustration, acting, videoart, etc. BUS represents its members and oversees the proper use of all copyright regulations.

Leaders and creators of film-making workshops from any European countries are invited for this Festival. This is to provide a special atmosphere where participants are able to meet and share the other nations’ values and differences through their performances. Besides the competition we are planning a show, the winner productions of different European Film Festivals. Also we are organizing a conference about the situation of young European filmmakers and their possibilities for cooperation. In the state of joining the European Union it is a chance for the member countries to cooperate and establish the alternative interests and values of the filmmaking communities. Entrance is free.

The festival consists of an international and Nordic selection of new children and youth films, and the formats are both feature films, short films, documentaries, and animation films. Besides the screenings there are workshops where children can learn more about various aspects of filmmaking as well as seminars for film professionals.
