Profile of Film and Television Graphic Design Studio The studio of Film and Television Graphic Design at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design has a long tradition, founded in the period when Adolf Hoffmeister and later Miloslav Jagr were active as professors at the Academy. The title of the studio includes not only the main direction of studies – i.e., animated film – but also everything what is loosely connected with film-making (cartoons and spatial objects such as film puppets, film prizes, film posters, games, toys, puppet and paper theatres). Such a “playful” approach to animated film corresponds with the artistic character of our school and moreover partially compensates the strict and severe demands on scrupulousness and patience connected with animation.
