The film and production company Carpe Diem Video was established in 2005. Globally, it is focused on the recording of a video and its follow-up processing. Besides the creating of documentary films for individuals and companies of different sphere of business, it has been one of the most notable producers of live recordings on the market. The company shot concerts of international stars, e.g. American jazz musician George Mraz, folk-rock interpreter Suzanne Vega. The final products of the company have often been destined to international musical market. The part of produced media has also been mid-length footage documentary films, video-clips, interviews, or photo slideshows. The company produces and publishes some of the recordings or final DVDs by itself. The company disposes of professional film-cameras with the highest definition FULL HD, including the other necessary technical equipment. The company manages an external team of 15 experienced cameramen and co-workers.

The festival is organized by Cartes (Centre for Art and Technology) and presents digital short films by Finnish and international artists. The festival is open to young artists and is especially geared towards young audiences.

CARTOON is an international non-profit association based in Brussels. Cartoon Masters: 4 training seminars each year for European professionals in the industry (about 100 participants per session), dealing with specialised subjects affecting the development of the skills and trade involved in animation.

Cartoon Club - International Festival of Animated Films and Comics was established in 1985. The festival wants to promote and present short and feature animated films from all around the world. Every year the festival offers a wide selection of films, comics exhibitions, retrospective programmes, workshops, debates, etc. In the off-season, Cartoon Club continues its work by promoting scriptwriting and comic technique courses as well as educational courses on animated cinema in schools.

For 20 years now, CARTOON has been organizing several times a year top-level quality training seminars for the European animation professionals: the Cartoon Masters. Designed by a team of experts, the Cartoon Masters are the only vocational seminars available for the animation community on a European level. The programme content gives both a theoretical and practical approach (case studies) on the current issues faced by the industry, focusing on 3 areas: * Cartoon Digital – the opportunities and challenges offered by the new technologies * Cartoon Finance – how to find ways to diversify sources of financing and increase the revenues of animated TV series * Cartoon Feature – all aspects relative to feature film, covering concept, development, production, marketing, distribution and exploitation A fourth Master, Training for Trainers, is specially developed for European animation schools and universities (on invitation only).

Casablanca film production is dedicated exclusively to the production of audio-visual works. From its beginning Casablanca has only one permanent employee, which is just enough for the Slovenian audio-visual market covering population of two millions. One employee is engaged in regular business between the projects. Besides, the Slovenian labor market offers enough availabilities for temporary employments to fulfill various projects. With such business policy our company keeps existing and, what is more important, we do not become affected by a permanent economic pressure. In such a manner the company maintains its autonomy and freedom to choose its programme. That is also our main goal and the reference line of the company's founders. Today it may sound somehow old-fashioned and too "boutique-like" or "manufacture-like". However, this policy conforms to the wishes and expectations of the owners who want to create a programme according to their own aesthetic principles.

CAT&Docs’ focus is on promoting and distributing all types of documentaries in all media around the world. CAT&Docs is looking for documentaries, investigative documentaries, collections, portraits of men and women both renown and unknown, in fields as varied as history, society, justice, the environment, the economy, politics, art and culture, but always associated with a high standard of content and form. Pertinent and impertinent films on topical questions and timeless subjects; documentaries that are carefully researched; documentaries that rigorously explore the subject matter, that are audacious, open to the diversity of the world and that have their place on the international scene; documentaries that question the world and propose new ways of looking at it. Rigor, respect, curiosity, diversity and innovation: the editorial choices of CAT&Docs must meet the demands of international markets.

From the year 2004 on, the Institute of Documentary Film (IDF) and the Czech Film Center issue the Catalogue of Czech Documentary Films highlighting remarkable projects, primarily individual documentaries, listing the yearly documentary production and securing important contacts of producers and filmmakers. The catalogue introduces approximately a hundred creative documentaries whose television or distribution premiere is planned for the autumn of the following year at the latest. The upcoming documentaries are divided into three chapters according to film length: films up to thirty minutes, films up to sixty minutes and feature-length films. The catalogue also includes a selection of ca 20 finished documentary films already premiered in Czech cinemas. Subsequently, the catalogue is distributed yearly by both institutions at Czech and international festivals as well as to important institutions and companies in the field of cinematography, providing invaluable promotion to the Czech documentary.
