CFI was founded in 1989 and it receives funding from the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It offers programming in four languages - French, English, Arabic and Portuguese.

The Czech Film Chamber (CFK) is a benevolent association founded in January 2003 upon the initiative of the Association of Producers in Audiovision (APA), the Union of Film Distributors (UFD) and the Association of Cinema Exhibitors (APK). The Czech Film Chamber runs MEDIA Desk Czech Republic, the national representative office of the EU MEDIA programme. Since January 1, 2004, the ČFK has been the umbrella organisation for both sections of the Czech Film Center - Film Promotion, promoting Czech cinematography abroad, and Film Commission, ensuring services for foreign film productions.

Czech Heaven of the Motion Picture (CFN) is the first database of all Czech and Slovak movies on the internet.

CGAI was established in 1991 by the Xunta de Galicia and it is in charge of the preservation, documentation and diffusion of Galician audiovisual and photographic heritage. The centre organizes screenings, exhibitions and lectures; collaborates with other cultural organizations, and promotes Galician audiovisual productions at film markets and festivals.

Competition of Non-Professional Films and Video Programs. The program of this national competition of non-professional films and video films with international participation is divided into three categories: 1. Culture and Historic Sights (films about cultural history focusing on folklore, crafts, architecture, folk customs, and filmmaker profiles), 2. Creation and Conservation of the Environment (films and video programs about nature), 3. Current Lifestyles (etnographic films and video programs documenting various lifestyles of people by age, social group, and agglomerations). The films are evaluated by an international jury. In addition to the presentations the festival has its educative perspective in its expert seminar.

We are an independent production company in Beijing; we aim to use our skills in film to address health issues in China, through public service ads and documentaries seen on television and the Internet. To date, our messages have reached over 800 million viewers in China.

Channel 4 is a commercial, public service broadcaster regulated by Ofcom. Five is a national analogue terrestrial TV channel.

Channel Four Finland (Nelonen) is a national TV channel, self-funded by advertising revenues. It started broadcasting in 1997, and it is part of SWelcom Oy, the electronic media division of SanomaWSOY. The station is available to 99.9 % of the population via digital transmission, reaching 2.1 million viewers a day.

Channel One is the Russian TV channel with the widest reception area, programming combines original productions and popular franchises.

Channel Zero is an independent Canadian broadcaster, and owner of five category 2 digital specialty channels, most notably – Movieola—The Short Film Channel and Silver Screen Classics - while provides origination for four other digital specialty channels.

Charles University founded in 1348 is one of the oldest universities in the world and nowadays belongs to the most eminent educational and scientific establishments in the Czech Republic which are recognized in both the European and global context. It is an outstanding cultural institution due to its scientific and pedagogical results and its unique historical tradition. Charles University now contains 17 faculties (14 in Prague, 2 in Hradec Králové, and 1 in Plzeň), 3 collegiate institutes, 6 additional establishments for educational, scientific, research and developmental activities and other creative activities and for information service, 5 university-wide facilities and the vice-chancellor´s/ rector´s office as an executive establishment for Charles University management. Chemodan Films is a company, created in October 2005 in Toronto, Canada. One of the goals of our organization is to produce documentary films on Russia, other territories of the former Soviet Union, and other parts of the world, which can equip scholars and the larger public with contents that help them to explore the cultural, social, and political complexities of past and present. Chemodan Films privileges topics reflecting on the “deep country,” including geographical and social areas that are not part of the mainstream. Besides producing documentaries, Chemodan Films is also establishing an archival depository of original film material, both contemporary and historical.

The festival was established in 1994 as an international competitive event in order to present full-length and short films by gay/lesbian authors or films that deal with GLBT issues. The festival program includes also retrospectives, focus and special screenings. In 2004, more than 14 000 visitors attended the event.
