WBI was established in 1984 as an official institution for the promotion and export of audiovisual products made in the region of Wallonia-Brussels. The task of WBI is to facilitate the access of producers and buyers to audiovisual markets and to assist them in promoting and selling their products at international markets.

At Wessex Film and Sound Archive you can see and hear history, from late Victorian times to the present day, through moving images and sound recordings. The Archive contains over 32,000 film and sound recordings relating to central southern England, including film and tapes of local TV and radio, now available to study and enjoy. We also have an 85 seat cinema for group viewing and listening.
