The film commission is part of Film in Dalarnas EU-project Filmlän Dalarna and is a regional equivalent to Sweden Film Commission, marketing Dalarna as an attractive alternative for film production inside and outside of Sweden.

DFA's Festival is the oldest dance film festival in the world that sparked a global explosion of activity. Co-sponsored by the Film Society of Lincoln Center since 1996, DOCF celebrates the immediacy, energy, and mystery of dance as combined with the intimacy of film. What we are looking for: We seek strong synergies of dance and film, whether it be a dance made for the camera, documentary, adaptation of a stage work or site specific creation. We also welcome animation, narratives, and works in which the kinetic energy and rhythmic design comes solely from the editor or lighting designer. Dance films can be driven from the prime perspective of dance, cinema, visual arts, or in the case of documentaries, information. Our host venue prefers to present only New York Premieres.

The Danish Film Institute (DFI) is the government agency responsible for supporting and encouraging film and cinema culture and for conserving these in the national interest. DFI operations extend from participation in the development and production of feature films, short and documentary films, over distribution and marketing, to managing the national film archive and the cinematheque. The DFI Film House, open to the public, is also an entertainment and edutainment facility, with its cinemas, videotheque, restaurant and café, bookshop and filmmaking studio FILM X. Dunatáj Foundation (Danube Region Foundation) was established by the Hungarian Movie and Film Factory in 1994. Our workshop is for non-profit films and TV programmes. Our purpose is to shoot and to distribute valuable documentary films, help young and talented directors' work, support cultural events and promote relationship between the film and its audience primarily among people living in the Duna river basing. Some 300 films enjoyed our support in the past 12 years.
