The festival is built around the Portuguese and international short film competitions. There are also other sections such as Work in Progress - directors who are connected with previous festivals; and Take One! - a young generation of film students showcases outstanding short films. Joining these sections there is the brand new Remixed, a programme that promotes the interaction between visual, audiovisual and musical creations. The festival also organizes a short film market.
