Organized by CoPro - Documentary Marketing Foundation (R.A), DocuShuk is a stimulating platform for the marketing of Israeli documentaries. Invited representatives of local and foreign networks, alongside representatives of Jewish and Arab communities around the world will enjoy as many as 120 newly produced documentaries in a multiply categorized catalogue.

DOCUTAH is a Southern Utah International Film Festival presented by Dixie State University in St. George. It is a new festival that focuses on independent films looking for distribution. It also encourages student submissions. In addition to screening films at both indoor and outdoor venues, it hosts master class seminars with internationally renowned guest lecturers who are industry professionals providing an academically based/ hands-on approach to film making. Founded in 1955, DOK Leipzig - International Leipzig Festival For Documentary and Animated Film - is the largest German and one of the leading international festivals for artistic documentary and animated films. During the Cold War, the festival was a unique place of encounter for filmmakers from East and West. Since the fall of the Berlin Wall, DOK Leipzig has developed into one of the most dynamic festivals for documentary and animated film, providing a high-quality programme and – since 2004 – additional industry offers. Artistic animated film is an integral part of the festival for decades and is represented with an independent competition since 1995. This twin-track character makes Leipzig unique in the festival landscape. In view of its varied and exciting history, it celebrates freedom of mind and speech, as well as pointedly illustrated images. High-quality art house cinema, superbly narrated stories, a critical eye, subtle observation, exploration of the memory of images shape DOK Leipzig’s character and diversity.

The main focus of the Co-Production Meeting is to encourage international co-productions and to help finance outstanding documentary projects for an international audience.

The DOK Leipzig Net Lab provides concrete support for cross-media projects in the development, production or post-production stage. International cross media experts will talk about their experiences, share knowledge and provide engaged mentoring and individual advice for each project.

DOK Market is a digital film library available during the DOK Leipzig Film Festival. It offers accredited professional guests the opportunity to view all documentary and animated films featured at the Festival. Additionally we show more than 100 further new documentaries with international appeal and sales potential. The DOK Market consists of 30 viewing stations, located in the impressive Museum of Fine Arts in Leipzig. The Market films will be promoted through the Market catalogue and online. It is the largest market for documentary films in Germany, its familiar atmosphere and friendly ambiance is particularly well suited for relaxed networking and discovering new documentary gems. Our guests include film professionals, sales companies, commissioning editors, buyers and festival programmers from all over the world.

The Association of Austrian Documentary Filmmakers was established in 1999 and represents the interests of documentary filmmakers in Austria. Dok.at is also active in all debates concerning media and film policies in Austria; lobbies for the improvement of funding conditions for independent filmmakers, esp. in the field of documentary film; aims to make documentary films more accessible both to cinema audiences and TV viewers; supports the improvement of current distribution channels and the creation of new ones; provides information about Austrian documentary professionals.

DOK.Incubator workshop is new initiative aiming to strengthen creative documentary industry bringing new impulses in the way of film production and use of the new media and internet platforms, especially in late stage of production. Through the development of rough-cut stage documentary films DOK.Incubator workshop aims to inspire film professionals with fresh ways of thinking about international film release, distribution, sophisticated marketing and actively working with audiences. The workshop is a follow-up to documentary development workshops and it is open to European producers with promising international project.

The Norwegian documentary festival was first held in 1997. It is the oldest and biggest Norwegian documentary film festival. The festival takes place in Volda, surrounded by beautiful nature. The festival awards the best Norwegian documentary, the best international documentary, best student production and the audience award.

Doku CS is a channel managed by Film Europe, s.r.o. It focuses on Czech and Slovak documentaries.

The festival was founded in 2006. It accepts documentary films and other films related to music, literature, performing arts, architecture, cinema, photography and fine arts as well as films that are between fiction and documentary or films which transcend the boundaries between the arts, and which connect the languages of art and film.

Dokubazaar - Ljubljana Independent Documentary Film Festival is open to all independent documentary film productions of all lengths produced in the last five years that combine artistic, cultural and educational value.

DokuFest, International Documentary and Short Film Festival, is the largest festival of its kind in Kosovo and the region. It takes place annually in Prizren. It was founded in 2002 by a group of cultural enthusiasts with the aim of reinitiating neglected cinema culture in Prizren and in Kosovo. Each summer the festival fills Prizren cinemas and other open-air screening venues with a selection of 160 documentary and short films from around the world. DokuFest Film Festival’s mission is to recognize and celebrate the art and craft of non-fiction cinema as well as short forms, including animation and films for children and youth. DokuFest also presents photo exhibitions, concerts, master classes, panels and a pitching session for Balkan filmmakers.
