The goal of this contest is to promote interactive multimedia works (including video games) created by European students within the framework of their training. The contest is open to on- or off-line interactive multimedia projects which were developed by students at school, university, or at a European training institute. Submitted multimedia projects may be personal or commissioned, made by an individual or a group.

The Early Melons International Student Film Festival is organized by the non–profit organization Festival Skoré melóny, n.o. The Festival reflects the current state of student audiovisual production in Slovakia and abroad. It stands as a platform for confronting student film production. The aim of the festival is to exchange experience and strenghten international cooperation between young talented audiovisual artists.

The East Anglian Film Archive is the East of England region’s moving image archive. It preserves film, video and television material relating to Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and the work of the region’s film makers both amateur and professional.

The East Doc Platform is the meeting point for East European filmmakers and producers who seek creative, financial and distribution support, and key international festival programmers, commissioning editors, buyers, distributors, sales agents, film fund and organization representatives who will be able to choose from some of the most promising films and projects in Central and Eastern Europe. The East Doc Platform creates a friendly and inclusive environment where quality creative documentaries can fine-tune their story and visual style, and find suitable partners for co-production and distribution. The programme will also include master classes with renowned filmmakers, case studies, seminars and lectures. The event is organized by the Institute of Documentary Film in association with the One World International Human Rights Documentary Film Festival.

The East End Film Festival aims to showcase independent films specifically focussing on those relevant to the communities or the spirit of East London. The festival accepts entries in the following categories: 1/ Homegrown Talent: for films made in the East End or by East End based filmmakers; 2/ Eastside Nationwide: for films made anywhere in the UK that have a cultural relevance to the East End; 3/ East International: for films made in Europe, Africa or Asia that have a cultural relevance to the East End. Short films should be no longer than 15 minutes.

East European Forum is the first meeting of East-European documentary filmmakers and significant European commissioning editors where the filmmakers and their independent producers offer their topics for realization. The Forum is organized by the Institute of Documentary Film in cooperation with European Documentary Network and International Documentary Film Festival Jihlava. At the beginning of October, 12 projects selected by the EDN and IDF committee will be posted on the IDF website. The EEF programme begins with the Pitch Workshop. Under the supervision of top European documentary film producers, lecturers and distributors, the participants can learn to write up a suggested co-production, to create a budget according to European standards, and to publicly present their projects. The workshop is followed by the Pitching Forum, a public presentation in which the director and producer have an opportunity to present their film projects to leading East and West European television pro
