BAU is a private educational center born in Barcelona in 1989 and its audiovisual courses include digital animation that can be applied in multimedia industry, video game development, television, cinema or advertising production companies.

The Belarusian State Academy of Arts is the only higher educational establishment in Belarus that trains specialists in the branch of theater, fine arts, decorative-applied, cinema and television art and design. It was established on the basis of the Belarusian Theater Institute founded in 1945. At present there are three departments at the Academy. They are Theater Department, Fine Art Department and Design and Decorative-applied Art Department. Besides Belarusian citizens there also study people from foreign countries. Foreign students and post-graduates are trained on the paid (contractual) basis. At Theater Department of the Academy one can receive necessary qualification on 4 professions and 16 narrower specializations within them: Actor’s Art: drama and cinema actor; puppet theater actor; musical theater actor. Stage Direction: drama director; puppet theater director; feature film director; documentary film director; video film director; TV director; sound producer; musical theater director. Theater Science: history and theory of theater; organization and direction of theater activity; cinema and TV Cameraman: cinema cameraman; TV cameraman. The term of studies for acquiring the qualification of actor or cameraman is 4 years, stage director and theatric scientist — 5 years. The academic year begins on September 1. Fine Art Department gives education in the following directions: Painting: easel-painting; theater-decorative painting; cinema artist. Graphics: design and illustration of books; easel-graphics; placard. Sculpture, Monumental-Decorative Art, Art Criticism: fine art; decorative-applied art; integrated art criticism. The term of studies at Fine Art Department is 6 years except for art criticism (5 years). The academic year begins on October 1. At Design and Decorative-applied Art Department one can acquire the following professions and specializations: Design: Industrial Design: design of consumer goods; design of means of industry and transport; furniture design. Design of Objective-Spatial Complexes: interior design. Graphic Design: typographic. Communicative Design: advertising; TV advertising. Design of Costume and Textiles: design of clothing; design of knitwear; design of weaving. Decorative-applied Art: decorative ceramics; decorative glass; decorative metal wares. The term of studies at Design and Decorative-applied Art Department is 5 years. The academic year begins on October 1. The Academy has post-graduate courses for the following qualifications: theater art, TV, cinema and other screen kinds of art, fine and decorative-applied arts and architecture, theory of arts, technical esthetics and design. The term of studies is 3 years for stationary or 4 years for correspondent students. There is the Student Theater and Museum at the Academy. There has also been established a Council for evaluation of the scientific research and awarding Master’s degrees on the specialization of Technical Esthetics and Design. Charles University founded in 1348 is one of the oldest universities in the world and nowadays belongs to the most eminent educational and scientific establishments in the Czech Republic which are recognized in both the European and global context. It is an outstanding cultural institution due to its scientific and pedagogical results and its unique historical tradition. Charles University now contains 17 faculties (14 in Prague, 2 in Hradec Králové, and 1 in Plzeň), 3 collegiate institutes, 6 additional establishments for educational, scientific, research and developmental activities and other creative activities and for information service, 5 university-wide facilities and the vice-chancellor´s/ rector´s office as an executive establishment for Charles University management. Cineclub train professional filmmakers to help teachers and pupils understand the whole filmmaking process and to widen their appreciation of contemporary, classic and cult film.

College of Polytechnics Jihlava (VŠPJ) was set up by the law No. č. 375/2004 Col. from 3 June 2004 as the first public college of a non-university type. VŠPJ runs accredited bachelor study programmes ond programmes of life-long education. The general goal of the study of accredited study programmes is to provide applicants with the possibility to get professionally oriented education with strongly practical output. After passing a final state examination and a bachelor work defense a graduate gets a diploma and a bachelor degree (Bc.) along with the possibility of further study in following master programmes or in case of good language knowledge the possibility of study abroad. The study in the accredited study programme "Economy and Management" is daily and lasts 3.5 years. At present, courses "Finance and Management" and "Travel/Tourism" are accredited. The study in the accredited study programme "Electrotechnics and Informatics" is daily and lasts 3 years. The course of "Computer Systems" is accredited. Accreditation of further programmes and courses is proceeding. VŠPJ also runs programmes of life-long education, including the Third Age University. VŠPJ resides in its own building in the centre of the town next to the bus station with a good link to the railway station. The building is adopted for the purposes and needs of the study, among others there are language laboratories, a computer hall, a reading room, a library with more than 30,000 books. Within the premises there are students' hostels with the capacity of 180 places and a canteen offering lunches and dinners. In the academic year 2005/2006, 627 students are studying at VŠPJ.

Constant is a Brussels association founded in 1997 with the objective of promoting, to the public and among artists, creative and/or critical works using new media in dialogue with other forms of expression. To do this, Constant organises exhibitions, conferences, workshops, publishes texts, with a view to developing the current media discourse.

CRAC receives financial support from the CNC, and offers information, education and training courses in the field of cinema.

The Creativity Workshop is based in New York City and is taught around the world. It was established in 1993 by writer Shelley Berc and multimedia artist Alejandro Fogel to provide an alternative to traditional forms of education and thinking. The organization is dedicated to teaching individuals and groups about their creative processes. They offer 3 University credits now for all their workshops including New York and Europe.

Cyfle is the Training Company for the Welsh Television, Film and Interactive Media Industry, offering practical training support for professional practitioners through a slate of short courses and practical funding assistance. The schemes are varied and cover a wide spectrum of activity from the Summer Schools for the younger generation to Newcomer Schemes and courses for the professional seeking to update and acquire new skills.

Design for tv, movies and computer games. Production Design is an area of specialization that covers design for film, TV, animations, motion graphics, music videos etc. The Danish Design school is in the process of merging with Royal School of Architecture that will be effective primo 2012.

The University of Miskolc offers a degree in cultural and visual anthropology. The department mainly producers documentaries about ethnic groups and cultural transitions. They produce films on the cultural solutions and answers given for globalization. In recent years teachers and students have also directed films there.

This is a two-day course taught over two weeks structured specifically for the documentary/factual world.It will be highly interactive, including formal teaching and practical group and individual exercises. It aims to increase your awareness of market requirements and how to present yourself most effectively to the market to make progress creatively and financially.Aims of Doc Biz: To give participants a theoretical and practical introduction to the full range of skills required to operate successfully as a freelance/microbusiness in the UK documentary/ factual industry.These skills are contextualised for relevance to both the individual and the small company / To increase participants’ awareness of market requirements and how they can most effectively present themselves and their products/ services to the market. / To enable participants to develop a realistic view of what they have to offer and enhance their professional effectiveness and confidence.

The aim of Documentary Campus is to provide advanced training for professionals and up-and-coming talents in the European documentary sector and to make them competitive for the international non-fiction market. Through a variety of workshops, seminars and public symposia with renowned international experts, Documentary Campus tackles special, contemporary themes pertaining to challenges and developments in the international non-fiction market and innovations in the genre. Topics cover among others script development, financing and coproduction skills, legal matters, distribution, marketing and new technologies. The heart of the initiative is the Documentary Campus Masterschool for project development. In a ten-months course, 15 European participants - authors, directors, producers and commissioning editors - develop documentary projects for the international market. They are being mentored by two internationally experienced tutors active in the non-fiction sector. Besides they take part in four workshops and pursue an internship in an internationally operating production or distribution company.

The Documentary Film Centre serves as a meeting point for anyone interested in documentary films. It is the Centre’s job to collect, research and promote German and international films and TV documentaries. The range includes artistic and socially committed documentaries| industrial, nature, educational and cultural films as well as journalistic forms such as reports, features and documentation. The Documentary Film Centre organizes regular conferences on the current and historical developments of documentary film. It also offers workshops and symposiums on subjects relating to film and television production.
