FilmAfrikana is an independent film festival focusing exclusively on African film.

Magazine focused on mainstream cinema, but also obscure B film production and minor genres (it is published by Řitka video, which is company specialized in releasing those kind of films on DVDs). The main aim of the magazine is to inform about new DVD releases on Czech market.

Filmaka.com is an on-line network created by established independent producers, industry professionals, and film financiers Deepak Nayar, Thomas Augsberger, Christopher Sharp, Robert Herman, Tim Levy, Mahesh Mathai, Kurt Woolner and Colin Firth. Short entries are uploaded every month; they must be based on a given subject and must not exceed three minutes. The goal of Filmaka.com is to give undiscovered filmmakers an opportunity to show custom made short films to industry professionals, award prizes to the most talented among them, and to find one truly talented director who will win a feature film deal with Filmaka at the end of the year.

The Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg was founded in 1991 as a non-profit limited liability company. Today, it is one of the most renowned international film schools. The project-oriented curriculum triggers learning by doing during all the different stages of a film and television production and thus makes studying at the Film Academy a unique experience. More than 300 highly qualified experts from the film and media business instruct the students and take care of their projects.

filmArche is the first self-organized film school in Europe. More than 130 filmmakers will meet regularly to train together. Moreover, filmArche is an internal as well as external networking platform that provides a wide range of contacts for professionals from the international film industry and cultural organizations.

Filmarchiv Austria was founded in 1955. Its collection contains around 60 000 film titles, 600 000 photographs and film stills, 10 000 film posters, 15 000 books, a variety of magazines, screenplays, literary remains of important filmmakers and a large collection of film equipment. Besides the accumulation of new titles and their preservation, the archive also aims to make its collection more accessible to public.

filmarchives online provides easy and free access to catalogue information of film archives from all over Europe. Via the multi-lingual web portal film works can be searched for by content, filmographic data and physical characteristics. Search results provide information about existence and location of the materials as well as contact details to facilitate the access. The focus of the database is on non-fiction material; i.e. documentary and educational films, newsreels, travelogue, advertising, scientific, industrial, experimental, sports films, as well as animation films. filmarchives online is the result of the MIDAS project (Moving Image Database for Access and Re-use of European Film Collections). MIDAS has been initiated in 2006 as a pilot project in the MEDIA Plus programme of the European Commission. It is carried out by 18 institutions and archives under the lead of the Deutsches Filminstitut – DIF.

The main activity of the Filmbank is the promotion and distribution of independent and unconventional Dutch films. The Filmbank has the following tasks: to inventorize and categorize relevant films; to organize film screenings; to search for new venues; to select 10-20 recent films for active distribution; to offer prints for rent via websites, catalogue and database; to promote Dutch experimental cinema at national and international festivals; to set up a videotheque and documentation/information centre for underground Dutch film.

Filmbin is a film & video production company established in 2002. We primarily make films for CHILDREN and young people. We also offer film courses, corporate films, post production and co-production/services for productions shooting in the Lillehammer region of Norway.

FilmCamp is a regional fund and infrastructure body, owned by the County of Troms and 6 municipalities in middle region of Northern Norway. FilmCamp offers production facilities, funding opportunities and professional support to feature films, creative documentaries and quality productions for TV that will be shot on location in the region. FilmCamp has a complete infrastructure: a large studio, workshop-facilities, hotel standard accommodation, restaurant, offices, meeting rooms, bar, sauna, laundry facilities, etc.
