The limited liability company Filmexport Home Video (FEX) was founded in 1993. Our main line of business is the publishing and distribution of films on DVD media, as well as the acquisition of television and video rights to foreign programmes of all genres, including full-length, children's or documentary films, and series. The essential element of our publishing and distribution activities comprises Czech archive films that belong to the "GOLDEN FUND OF CZECH CINEMATOGRAPHY". To this date, we have released almost 200 film titles in VHS format and since 2002, more than 100 film titles on DVDs. When publishing Czech archive films on DVD media, we primarily focus on picture and sound quality. DVD bonus features traditionally include: a word from historian, a photo gallery, author and actor biographies and filmographies, newly shot interviews, festivals and awards, contemporary documents, Czech subtitles for the hearing impaired, English subtitles and/or other additional bonuses, such as soundtrack songs, original film trailers, German subtitles, etc.

FILMEXPORT PRAGUE DISTRIBUTION is an experienced film export agency with a long tradition dealing all the rights of long feature films made in 1945 - 1991, i.e. state film production including the best Czech classic films of "New Wave" of the sixties made by famous film directors as Miloš Forman, Jiří Menzel, Jiří Weiss, Karel Kachyňa, Věra Chytilová, František Vláčil and others. We represent also Czech archives films (1930-1945) as well as Czech animated film production (1965–1991) of Zlin Film Studios including famous films of Karel Zeman and Hermina Týrlová. In our catalogue there are also feature films of 1992-2004 made by Czech independent producers.

FilmFarm is a boot camp and a retreat and a place for workshops and creative thinking. FilmFarm presents a unique opportunity for directors, actors, writers and producers to exchange thoughts and experiences on the art of filmmaking. At this camp a variety of workshops is organized in the cooperation with the Documentary Filmmakers Group of London (http://www.dfglondon.com).

Focusing on short films, the festival promotes a film category which is mostly disregarded by cinemas and television. The main sections of the festival are the International and the National Competitions. In addition, the Online Competition was introduced in 2001. These are being accompanied by various other thematic events. Visitors, the press and film producers also use the festival as a meeting place to exchange opinions and discuss new ideas.

The Eberswalde International Film Festival was first held in 2004. By presenting both German and international projects, the festival wants to promote the region of northeast Brandenburg as the intersection of various European influences. Every year the organizers select more than 60 films from hundreds of submissions that come from more than 30 countries. The festival wants to create a friendly environment that would encourage direct contact between filmmakers and audiences. The following can be submitted: short, documentary, animated and experimental films.

Filmfest Hamburg is an annual international festival that takes place in five venues. The sections of this Northern German festival are: Official Programme, Eurovisual, Made-for-TV films, Filmszene Hamburg, and Children's Film Fest. Filmfest Hamburg is focused on independent production and young filmmakers.

The festival was established in 1980 and provides a platform for young filmmakers from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Today the festival belongs among important events in the German cultural scene. The prestige of the competition - boosted by €18 000 for best director - always draws many industry professionals and a wide media attention.
