Since its inception in 2004, Grindstone Media has proudly handled many critical and audience favourites including Jia Zhang-ke’s THE WORLD, the intimate and revealing METALLICA: SOME KIND OF MONSTER, and the audience award winning BLACKBALLED: The Bobby Dukes Story. Since 1968, GSFA has been uniting professionals and friends of this art form throughout Switzerland. It has more than one hundred members whom it provides with a national and international network. It furthers the creation of works and helps to distribute them, defending, among others, the specificity of animated film before political authorities and distributors, offering training or furthering exchanges of experiences and techniques. Through its various actions and services, the group allows this particular kind of cinema to find an access to public: annual competition in Solothurn, Service Festival, film tours, etc.

Chinese state level international professional event and market focusing on documentary which started in 2003. The festival held in Guangzhou annually includes the following major activities: A thematic Competition, Documentary Market, Public Screenings and Seminars. Every year, GZ DOC chooses a theme with international concern for the competition and calls for the recent documentaries produced in China and worldwide. The past themes include: History and Cultural Heritage, Children and Youngster’s Stories, Women Today, Facing Poverty and Towards the Olympics. Documentary Market in GZ DOC is the only professional market in documentary in China. It started with Documart (project pitching session) and Doc Shop in 2004. In 2005, 30 VIP commissioning editors were invited to meet Chinese producers. Projects with Most Marketing was introduced for promoting Chinese projects to international market. In 2006, GZ DOC worked with Discovery Asia in “Discover First Time Filmmaker” program and received over 400 applications and a Sino-Canada-German trilateral producer meeting was held. In 2007, GZ DOC introduces Producer Day and invited 50 international producers to meet Chinese documentary professionals. GZ DOC Screening endeavors to introduce outstanding documentaries to Chinese audience who rarely have access to these films. Screenings of outstanding documentaries in the festival venue and universities were held since 2003. From 2005, Public Screenings were held during the festival time in three cinemas in Guangzhou. In 2006, 38 films from China, Netherlands, UK, Germany, Poland, Finland, Portugal, Canada were screened in three cinemas as well as University City. Starting from 2007, GZ DOC opened online application for public screening. Seminars have been held since GZ DOC 2003 to discuss various issues in documentary making. The Gucci Tribeca Documentary Fund provides finishing funds to feature-length documentaries which highlight and humanize issues of social importance from around the world. Funded films are driven by thoughtful and in-depth storytelling, bolstered by a compelling visual approach. As mainstream media moves away from in-depth coverage of world affairs, domestic issues and social conflicts, the documentary has become an important and much needed tool to draw attention to the serious issues facing our world today. At the same time, the craft of the documentary is expanding in exciting directions, merging diverse points-of-view with new technologies and responding to the immediacy of the internet.

The Guild of British Film and Television Editors, GBFTE, is an association of editors in the British Film and Television Industries. The Guild's aims are to: raise the profile of the skill and craft of editing; encourage suitable and effective training for those wishing to take up editing as a profession; provide a forum for the discussion of technological development and innovation within the profession; secure co-operation from other professional bodies in the film and television industry, both nationally and internationally.

GUSTAV FILM was established in 2000 and started of as a production company for TV commercials. The company soon became one of the leaders in the Slovenian market producing a number of award wining TV ads for Slovenian and international clients. Led by Frenk Celarc, one of Slovenia's best known production managers whose work includes over 30 feature films of national andinternational production, the company now focuses primarily on its own film production. Besides our own production, we also offer a complete range of film services which includes infrastructure, equipment and organization for all types of film production in Slovenia. Gustav film few years ago focused on low budget film production starting with LETTER TO A CHILD and continue with DAD where we first invite crew members important and necessary for film production and create a wide coalition of local co-producers creating a production family that together strongly beleives in the film. What we are looking for is creative crew in all levels and good energy in development, production and promotion and distribution.
