HesseGreutert Film is an independent production company based in Zurich, Switzerland. It was founded in 2004 by the producers Simon Hesse and Valentin Greutert.

The company produces documentary and fiction films for theatrical release as well as television. HesseGreutert Film's track record displays the wide interests of its owners: Just like their fascination for film does not stop at a certain genre, HesseGreutert is not limiting itself to a certain kind of film.

Thus, HesseGreutert's filmography includes such diverse works as the theatrical documentaries «Max Frisch, Citoyen» and «Rocksteady: The Roots Of Reggae» or the feature films «Day At The Seaside» and «Night Rush».

Many of their films have won awards and have been shown at international festivals.

Hi Film Productions is a Romanian independent company dealing with local films, international co-productions as well as with production services. Working in the industry for the last 18 years on films involving Charlotte Rampling, Franco Zeffirelli, Quincy Jones, Nae Caranfil, Jeremy Irons or Alexandra Maria Lara - Ada Solomon opened her own production company 7 years ago together with Avi Karpick. She has produced multi-awarded fictions directed by Radu Jude, Razvan Radulescu, Adrian Sitaru and docs by Katharina Copony and Alexandru Solomon. The Association was established in 1931 and organizes the work of alternative, non-professional, independent and experimental filmmakers and video artists in Hungary. They also organize regional, national, thematic and generation film weeks and festivals, as well as artist creative camps. Highway Productions was founded in 1999 by George Lykiardopoulos. Its feature and short films have participated in international festivals and have been sold in various territories worldwide. Highway aims to work with the new generation of Greek filmmakers, as well as maintain creative relationships with established directors. The films in interest are usually of current issues of the times, produced in a way that will attract a wide variety of audiences and will travel internationally. Highway also provides servicing for foreign productions who wish to film in Greece and has been active in theater production since 2004.

The Himalaya Film Festival shows some of the dynamic changes affecting the area of the Himalayan mountains and provide the audience with intimate insights into the the landscape and people of the region. The Festival offers audiences the chance to experience the Himalayan region, to travel beyond the image of the region as it is presented in regular movies and meet the intriguing diversity, and uniqueness of the Himalayas.

History Doc is an international three-part development programme focusing on historical documentaries. The programme offers you the opportunity to get an insight on the current state of historical documentary production on an international scale, learn about financing opportunities, have your own historical documentary project developed and meet with key financiers in this niece segment. The three History Doc sessions are organised by Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation ERT and EDN in cooperation with the Greek Parliament Television and takes place in Athens, Greece.

After being established in 2003, Hitchhiker Films became a leader on the Slovak production market. Locally the company has worked for the most renowned advertising companies. Since 2006 it has been dealing also with the film and TV production.

The competition consists of creating and cutting a new sound track over old films taken from the silent film era. The festival aims to newly integrate sound and image and to rediscover films that might otherwise be soon forgotten. All the admitted films and animations have to belong to the silent film era and integrated in the montage. Whatever length is accepted. Whatever kind of soundtrack either original or non-original is allowed. Works can either be respectful or ironic and desecrating. Manipulation of the original montage and extracts is not allowed.
