MS Films was established in1991 when there were open the first possibilities of activity for privat filmproduction companies in Poland. MS Films are Michał Szczerbic, Maciej Skalski, Grażyna Kozłowska, Andrzej Besztak, Jan Janik, Andrzej Szenajch. All of them experienced for years in various filmproduction departments. They cooperate with Andrzej Wajda, Krzysztof Zanussi, Costa Gavras, Agnieszka Holland, Volker Schlendorff, Roman Polanski.

The MSH film and television funding in the state of Schleswig-Holstein aims to support diverse and distinctive productivity, strengthen the cultural-economical efficiency of production companies, improve training and further-education.

After all, not everyone can make it to the Cannes Film Festival—especially if you are a school teacher or you live in Winnipeg (or both)—but that doesn't mean you can’t recite all of Kubrick’s films in reverse chronological order, or that you are not desperate to watch the latest Kitano film that’s definitely not going to be released in your local multiplex. Our film library is brimming with visionary films that wouldn’t fill a single cinema in Belgium for a week – not even a day. But if you searched the world (all of it), you might just find an audience of a thousand for these rare cinematic treats. And we don’t think a thousand people should be ignored just because they happen to live in different time zones or far away from Belgian cinemas. If someone needed to make such a precise film, it means that someone, somewhere needs to watch it.

MUJERDOC aims to be a platform for the exhibition of DOCUMENTARIES that contribute to the promotion of the equal possibilities of men and women. The access of women to the social, civil, political and sexual rights; the equality of opportunities; the defense of the different cultures between people, the stereotypes and roles associated to women in the sexist social model; the oppression practiced by some religions against the freedom to choose and the freedom of sexual identity…these are the topics that festival’s first edition brought up.

The Multimedia Institute [mi2] is a Zagreb-based NGO that sprang up in 1999. Stepping into the still unchartered territory between the social and cultural agency and the developments in new technologies, [mi2] brought together an emerging generation of civil activists, media practitioners, independent cultural actors and social and media theorists. Eight years on, [mi2] continues to pursue following principle tasks: to develop new media practices relevant for critical social and cultural action; to promote and develop socially inflected approaches to technologies – free software, free culture and open standards; to present contemporary philosophy, social and media theory; to present contemporary film, music and new media culture; to protect public domain, contest gentrification and encourage citizen participation in urban development; to strengthen independent cultural sector and to advocate progressive cultural policies in order to support emerging tendencies of socio-cultural reformism in the independent cultural sector. [mi2] is locally recognized through the activities of its cultural center MAMA, its Human Rights Film Festival (jointly organized with Association for Cultural Development - URK) and its engagement in urban activist initiative Right to the City.

This is is a project-based 5-day workshop designed for audiovisual producers and creative teams to understand the digital media marketplace, and develop and adapt their content accordingly. Business models, the current marketplace for multiplatform content and how to package and market a product are some of the questions answered during the programme.

Mundovision is a 30-year old Canadian company specialized in prime time investigative and current affairs documentaries of political, social and scientific nature, and is renown around the world for distributing such memorable titles as Hide & Seek in Iraq, The Plague Monkeys, The Dead Are Alive, The Holy Warriors, Coat of Many Countries and Aung San Suu Kyi: The Prisoner of Rangoon. We also seek co-production and funding roles in high-profile one-offs or series by generating international pre-sales, investing production and post-production facilities and/or through official co-productions between Canada and many eligible countries.

The International Festival of Film Schools was established in 1981. It is now one of the most important festivals for young filmmakers in the world. More than 3 200 films have been presented at the festival since its inception. More than 2 000 foreign students and professors have had opportunities to meet, enter into discussions and share their experiences with each other. Every year students from 35 film schools submit more than 50 films.

Munich International Short Film Festival is an independent festival that wants to promote the genre of short film. The programme consists of Competition Section and Friends & Family Program. The latter is by invitation only and cannot be applied for. The competition is meant to present artistic developments, especially new innovations, in the short film production regardless of national representation. Films of all genres are accepted but the running time must not exceed 15 minutes.
