he aim of the workshop is to give young filmmakers from the region a first insight into international co-productions. A pitching training prepares them for organized speed-dating and one-on-one meetings with four young German producers. Benefiting from their experiences and consultance the filmmakers learn how to briefly present their project idea within a scheduled time and to generate interest. It is the first move to find a team partner in order to apply for the Robert Bosch Stiftung Co-Production Prize.

The reelisor pitch award is open to any reelisor member uploading a new project onto the platform. Every 2 months, all new projects submitted are eligible for the award, with the chosen winner receiving personal mentoring, advice and connections for their project to help them to progress it forwards in the international doc market. The winner will be also profiled on reelisor.
The bimonthly winner will also, subject to availability, receive other prizes relevant to the season, such as complimentary pass to partner markets like Doc/Fest, Dok Leipzig, IDFA and other reelisor partners.
Though only one winner will be selected, for the initial months of the project, all applicants will be given feedback and advice on getting investment and exposure for their ideas.

The MEDIA Programme is organising a meeting of national, regional and international film funds in the context of Rendez-Vous Européen on May 17th 2010. The objective of this meeting is to provide a forum for representatives of film funds from all over the world to share experiences and best practices and hold discussions with professionals and policymakers.
The agenda will consist of two half day programmes; the morning session will focus entirely on film funds in the form of two separate panel discussions. Panellists will share their experiences before opening up the debate and Q&A. This morning session is opened to film funds only.
In the afternoon, a conference "Shaping the Future of Cinema", will consist of a meeting between professionals of the audiovisual inudstry and film funds.

This award was instituted as the Actual Awards for action and investigative journalism, to encourage reporters to continue their work in this genre and to give due recognition to their talent.
