One of the few--if not the only--European film festival outside of Europe to be organized by an independant NPO since 1994, the OEFF once again confirmed by an always increasing public success its position as the major European film event in Asia. The event offers a unique opportunity to benefit from an exceptional exposure on Japanese and Asian markets. The Osaka European Film Festival promotes European cultures in their shared heritage and their fantastic variety, by always bringing to its audience a rich and ambitious variety of audiovisual creations. The festival accepts Japanese premieres by directors based in Europe, in the following categories: fiction (preferred), feature documentary and animated films. Preferred themes are those dealing with European cultures and issues in the largest sense.

OSFAF was established in 1973 (as the Student Festival of Amateur Film) and was organized every year till 1990 (the break-up of Yugoslavia). In 2006, the tradition of the festival was renewed under the name Common Students’ Festival of Alternative Film. The event presents a selection of contemporary films from the domestic, European and world non-professional production.

The Osnabrück Independent Film Festival provides a panel for committed filmmaking. The basic idea of the festivalis to forward tolerance within the society and between nations. Such tolerance can only be developed by knowing, understanding and dealing with one's own as well as foreign points of views and ways of life. The festival presents films that address current social and political issues, such as globalization, the rearrangement of power, migration, human trafficking, etc. Its selection of films and their deeper connection is what sets the festival apart from other similar events. The festival not only presents committed filmmaking, but also adds a didactic component to the presentation that is relevant to the medium. Each program is introduced by a presenter. The festival invites directors and qualified experts to give further information on subject matters, backgrounds and aesthetic considerations or to take part in discussions after the screenings or in workshops.

The Austrian Film Institute was established 1981 in order to provide comprehensive funding for the Austrian film industry in its cultural and economic aspects as well as to further develop the traditions of Austrian film.

The Austrian Film Museum (OeFM) has two fundamental missions: 1) to preserve, research, enrich and relate to the public the collection of films and objects which the Museum has acquired since its foundation; 2) to exhibit the medium of film in all its dimensions and historical forms, working with the collection as well as with loans from other sources. The Film Museum is a specific exhibition space (film as a time-based event, the experience of a performative act), a collection site and archive (film as an artefact, as local and global memory), a research and study centre, as well as a place for public debate and reflection (film as a nodal point of discourse on culture and society). Financially supported by the Austrian government and the City of Vienna as well as by private sponsors and through income from membership and admission fees, the Film Museum’s double role in Austrian cultural life is that of an art historical museum as well as a museum of 20th century history - both in relation to the film medium.

The Austrian Film Service is a film library and rental dedicated to educational and informative films that can be selected over the internet, booked and rented out free of charge. The organization also organizes industry film festivals and showcases of Austrian films at international festivals.

Otter Films was established in 2009 by Anna Wydra. The Warsaw-based production company focuses on arthouse fiction and documentary films for cinema and TV, with an emphasis on the international market. Otter Films is a creative team of people devoted to good stories and artistic qualities. Most of our projects are national or international co-productions, and we make our films in many places all over the world (including Haiti, USA, Mexico, Abkhazia). We are very proud that we can work on projects with such great filmmakers as Jolanta Dylewska, Andrzej Wajda, Agnieszka Holland - we are currently in production with their documentary essay AND THERE WAS LOVE IN THE GHETTO -, Bartek Konopka (currently in production with ART OF DISAPPEARING, which he is co-directing with Piotr Rosolowski), and Sergey Dvortsevoy whose new feature AYKA we are co-producing together with Kinodvor (Russia) and Pallas Film (Germany).

Oulu International Children's Film Festival is an annual event organized by the Oulu Film Centre. The main goal of the Festival is to introduce new trends in children's films and to find distributors for children's films in Finland. The main programme of the Festival is limited to 15 films.

The Oulu Music Video Festival was established from the initiative of video students at the Oulu College of Culture and Technology in 1994. Today the OMVF ry. is an independent non-profit organization. The number of festival visitors at the Oulu Music Video Festival is normally somewhere between 15,000 and 20,000 people. The Music Video Festival presents not only Finnish videos and films but also international productions in a selection of special screenings, e.g. rock documentaries, top-class videos, gems of German pop culture, etc. The festival also hosts the Air Guitar World Championship.

The Ourense International Film Festival (OUFF) showcases outstanding independent cinema productions from all over the world. The Festival competition is made up of five official sections: feature films, short films, documentaries, animation and New Media. Within the short film section, there will be one known as MIÑO for all the films produced in Galicia and Portugal.

Outsiders operates an open, rolling submissions programme - the festival screens shorts and features throughout the year, at monthly screenings and during the main festival. The organizers accept short, feature and documentary films shot on any format. Submissions must have relevant LGBT content.

OUTtv is a Canadian English language category 1 digital cable specialty channel with lifestyle and general entertainment programming for LGBT audiences.

OVAL Filmemacher was funded in 2002 by the two filmmakers Lilian Franck and Robert Cibis. We are specialized in international co-productions, tailored to please viewers in different countries. These productions focus on both the needs of high profile non-fiction TV slots and on long-term, in-depth and creative documentaries. OVAL is specialised in science, cultural and social topics and since 2006 is being supported by the EU MEDIA Slate Funding Program.
