OWH TV Studio is the only NGO in Moldova that promotes the values of a democratic society using audio and video means. Being graduates from the Academy of Theatre and Film from Bucharest and of other European institutions, the OWH TV Studio team take part in the mass media and cinema life of Moldova offering a new and original perspective of social events. OWH TV Studio was created in 1995. At first, the studio was launched as a laboratory for young TV producers to develop their skills in the field of audio and video technologies. In time, the activities of the studio ceased to be limited to instructive projects for young producers. Thus, a new professional enviroment was created, which had as an imperative to create TV production of the highest quality. In 1999, OWH TV Studio was registered as an independent institution. At present, our developing strategy includes three main directions: concept creation, production and education.

The International Documentary Film Festival takes place every year in Oxford and Milton Keynes. The festival audience awards documentary films in the following categories: Best Documentary Feature, Best Short Film, Best Student Film. Winners will receive The Golden Ox Award.

Oxus Films was created out of a passion for sharing ideas across cultural boundaries, making what may initially appear foreign a bit more familiar. Through wonderful human stories we may recognize that the seemingly different people in the films are just ourselves, but in different circumstances. Oxus Films produces independent films but also offers writing, filming, editing and photography services for projects with partners in government, NGO and commercial sectors.

Oyibo Productions is a young ensemble of independent filmmakers and freelance journalists based in Italy and founded in 2003. Winners of the Premio Ilaria Alpi for Independent Productions 2005 for its documentary on Darfur, Sudan, “Another African Story”.

Palacký University, Olomouc was re-established by the Act of the Interim National Assembly, passed on February 21, 1946. It followed up with the tradition of the old Olomouc university, which was established in 1573 and closed in 1860. Therefore the Olomouc University can justly be considered the second oldest university in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia. At present the Palacký University, Olomouc is formed by eight faculties: St. Cyril and Methodius Faculty of Theology, Faculty of Medicine, Philosophical Faculty, Pedagogical Faculty, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Physical Culture, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Health Sciences. Approximate number of students is 21 000.

Founded in 2000, the foundation´s purpose is the promotion of Hungarian documentaries. To reach that aim, they operate as Internet database and video collection, they organize conferences and meetings and they produce anthropological documentaries. They intend to render the opportunity to the ethnographical sciences and cultural anthropology to show and diffuse their research work on moving pictures.

The festival screens mainly festival winners and also films by young directors, animated films for children and social documentary films.
