Formerly known as the Factual Entertainment Awards, the Realscreen Awards have evolved to better represent the diverse types of non-fiction entertainment programming that fall under the realscreen umbrella. Programs that were previously ineligible under the Factual Entertainment Awards rules, will now have a chance to be recognized as the best work in their genre. In a high-profile presentation at Realscreen West on June 5th, 2013, we will pay tribute to outstanding content from around the world at the industry’s global celebration of non-fiction and factual entertainment excellence.

The Realscreen Summit is the most important non-fiction film & television industry event. Now in its 12th year, this highly anticipated annual event is dedicated to the development of business and creative opportunities for those in non-fiction and factual programming and content creation. In partnership with realscreen magazine, the ongoing mandate is to identify the best new ideas, recognize top industry talent, offer the forum for discussion and debate, explore issues and uncover trends and ultimately create an international network of connected individuals leading to business growth and career development.

ReAnimania’s goals are to facilitate the development of animation art, educate a new generation of world class animators and provide a forum for presenting works of Armenian animators in the international arena as well as introduce examples of the world’s finest animated films to the Armenian audience.

Red is a production company that advertising agencies and other production companies hire to realize or service the realization of their advertising and/or artistic projects. Red is capable of producing print, radio, television and outdoor commercials, industrial and promotional films, television shows, documentaries, short films and feature films.

Redbird is an independent production company based in Winchester, in the UK, and run by Karen Gilchrist and Hilary Durman. We're a small and friendly team, and we've been making programmes for the past 20 years. We produce television and radio programmes, and features, working with a talented network of directors, editors and production personnel. We aim to be creative and resourceful in our approach to work, devising original programme ideas and formats, and innovative projects. We work closely with contributors to ensure their story reaches a wider audience, and so they have a positive experience of working with the media.

REEL CANADA is an initiative of members of our national film and television industry, designed to bring Canadian films into Canadian classrooms. It is endorsed and supported by our National Honourary Patron, the Right Honourable Adrienne Clarkson, Honourary Patron Mayor David Miller, a Board of Directors and an Advisory Committee that includes some of our most prominent filmmakers and producers - Atom Egoyan, David Cronenberg, Norman Jewison, Robert Lantos, Don McKellar, Sarah Polley, Jean-Marc Vallée and many others have all put their personal endorsement on this vital project. Essentially, REEL CANADA is a day-long traveling film festival that moves from one school to another. Each event includes films chosen by the students themselves from a curated program of features, documentaries, animated programs and shorts. Special guest speakers such as actors, directors and other prominent personalities present the films and take part in Q&A’s with the students.

reelisor is the new online cooperation platform for the entire European documentary film business. As a navigator for existing platforms and websites, reelisor offers guidance and information throughout the whole year. Its mission is to encourage training, education and the exchange of knowledge within the international documentary film market and its related fields. reelisor is a freely accessible tool for networking. It connects documentary film professionals, commissioning editors, festivals, markets and other initiatives active in the industry. With its European focus, reelisor grants insights into current productions and topics.

The reelisor pitch award is open to any reelisor member uploading a new project onto the platform. Every 2 months, all new projects submitted are eligible for the award, with the chosen winner receiving personal mentoring, advice and connections for their project to help them to progress it forwards in the international doc market. The winner will be also profiled on reelisor. The bimonthly winner will also, subject to availability, receive other prizes relevant to the season, such as complimentary pass to partner markets like Doc/Fest, Dok Leipzig, IDFA and other reelisor partners. Though only one winner will be selected, for the initial months of the project, all applicants will be given feedback and advice on getting investment and exposure for their ideas.

ReelWorld Film Festival is a five day festival that screens features, shorts, documentaries, animation, music videos from the Aboriginal, Asian, Black, Latino, Middle Eastern, South Asian and other multi-racial communities.
