The National Center of Cinematography (Qendra Kombëtare e Kinematografisë) operates with an annual budget of approx. 1 million euro. The unions of professional filmmakers in Albania assign their representatives to the QKK Council, a body that selects projects to receive funding. The maximum amount available for each selected project is 300,000 euro. QKK provides funding in both minority and majority co-productions. Other sources of financing are: public and private broadcasters who participate in projects with in-kind investments and promotional services.

Founded in 2001, NISI MASA is a European network of associations, currently present in 19 countries. The Polish Film Institute (Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej) is the newest film institute in Europe, established in 2005 in accordance with the new cinema law, passed by the Polish Parliament. The Institute's principal task is to provide the Polish film industry with modern support mechanisms - from the development of projects and production, to promotion, distribution and circulation of Polish and European films. We support films from a concept to the screen, with particular emphasis on international co-productions. The Polish Film Institute wants to draw Polish viewers back to the theatres to watch Polish films and, at the same time, to make them worth of seeing and accessible to international audiences, particularly in Europe. The Institute welcomes all foreign partners - producers, distributors and filmmakers alike - interested in any forms of collaboration with the Polish film industry. The Romanian Film Promotion (APFR) was established in 2003 under the name of Film Association XXI with the objectives of supporting young filmmakers, promoting European values and shaping up a new generation of viewers. The main activities of APFR include: 1/ Information: The catalogue of Romanian films and a website (www.romfilmpromotion.ro, with the future intent of a newsletter) inform about the current state of Romanian Film Industry. 2/ Promotion: The APFR organizes a Romanian booth at important film markets and festivals. Moreover, the "Shooting Romania" Brochure aims at promoting Romania as an excellent film location. 3/ The GOPO Awards: Since spring 2007, APFR organizes the annual Gopo Awards, awarded to Romanian films. 4/ Distribution: The APFR also supported the setting up of Transilvania Film, a film, video and TV distribution company for a series of select art house titles.

Skalvija Cinema Center is an arthouse cinema situated in central Vilnius. The programming focuses on non-commercial European and World cinema, both classics and recent film. Established in 1963, the Slovak Film Institute, member of FIAF and European Film Promotion, is the sole national institution in the field of cinema. It consists of the National Film Archive and the National Cinematographic Centre.
