The film commission foundation of Rome, the provinces and Lazio was founded on February 5, 2007, encompassing the Lazio Region, the Municipality of Rome, the Province of Rome, the Province of Frosinone, the Province of Rieti and the Province of Viterbo, to replace the previous Lazio organizations, the Rome Film Commission and the Lazio Film Commission. The goal of the new organization is to encourage national and foreign film and audiovisual producers to invest and produce in Rome and the region, to promote the image of Rome and Lazio in the region, to publicize its natural and cultural heritage and to encourage increased competition throughout the area.

The Romanian Film Promotion (APFR) was established in 2003 under the name of Film Association XXI with the objectives of supporting young filmmakers, promoting European values and shaping up a new generation of viewers. The main activities of APFR include: 1/ Information: The catalogue of Romanian films and a website (www.romfilmpromotion.ro, with the future intent of a newsletter) inform about the current state of Romanian Film Industry. 2/ Promotion: The APFR organizes a Romanian booth at important film markets and festivals. Moreover, the "Shooting Romania" Brochure aims at promoting Romania as an excellent film location. 3/ The GOPO Awards: Since spring 2007, APFR organizes the annual Gopo Awards, awarded to Romanian films. 4/ Distribution: The APFR also supported the setting up of Transilvania Film, a film, video and TV distribution company for a series of select art house titles.

ROSDY FILM KG is a film production company that focuses primarily on the work of Paul Rosdy (writer, director, producer). Paul Rosdy has worked in film and video all over Central, South & Eastern Europe, Canada and the United States since 1990. After graduating from film school in Vancouver, he made Release Day (1992) with the support of the Nation Film Board of Canada. Then he moved to New York where he produced his award winning feature length documentary The Port of Last Resort (1998) about the Jewish refuge to Shanghai in WW2. This film was an Austro/American co-production with the support of HBO, ORF and many others. 2005 the film was released on DVD by Winter & Winter, Germany.
2005 New World, a journey through Central Europe, premiered in Karlovy Vary and was since successfully distributed worldwide. This film was an Austrian production produced with the support of ORF and others. TV sales to Italy, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, Thailand etc.
In 2009 Rosdy completed the Czech Production Cernobila Barevna (Black/White Color) as writer and director.
Current projects: The Last Jew from Drohobycz (Documentary in post-production) and Emir & Merima (Drama, production finance phase).
The company has its own professional sound recording equipment as well as an editing suite. There is a 5 room office space that allows for people to work in different capacities in various stages of a project.
