The Association of Icelandic Film Producers, is an association of Icelandic film production companies, producing all types of films, Feature, Television, Documentary and Shorts. The Association is represented on the boards of MEDIA Desk Iceland, The Collecting Society of Iceland, The Icelandic Film and Television Academy, and The Film Board of Iceland.

The Festival Silhouette is organized by L'Association Silhouette (a non-profit organization) whose responsibilities include, among others, the selection of films shown and competing during the festival. The Festival is open to all directors and producers of short films whatever their country of origin. The Festival takes place in Parc des Buttes Chaumont and at the 104, a cultural place in Paris. Free admission.

Silmviburlane was founded in 2006 by Heilika Pikkov and Ülo Pikkov. Both known before mainly as directors, they joined their forces to start a small and mobile film production company in Tallinn, which produces documentary and animation films by young authors. In 2010 Silmviburlane co-produced a 57-minute documentary Normal, which was the winner of Robert Bosch Stiftung Co-Production Prize for Joint Film Productions by German and Eastern European filmmakers. Currently the biggest film project in production is a feature length documentary Mother Ksenya, which has been selected for the international documentary pitchings and forums in Italy, Latvia, Norway, Denmark and Germany. The film is planned to be released in 2013.

Silverdocs was created through a unique alliance between AFI and the Discovery Channel to showcase, honor and expand the audience for independent documentaries. In only its second year, Silverdocs has become one of the largest and most prestigious international film festivals in the Washington area, attracting filmmakers and films from all over the world. The festival screens about 80 films representing 34 countries, which are selected from a competitive field of more than 1,200 entries. The International Documentary Conference - Silverdocs is also the best place to experience the convergence of media outlets, nonprofit groups and world political organizations than Washington, DC. Access to industry leaders helps make this a must-attend event for both documentary filmmakers and industry executives. In its first year, the Conference drew 450 filmmakers, producers, programmers and other industry experts.

Silverdocs - International Documentary Conference annually hosts over 1,200 international media professionals and organizes 80 workshops, seminars, networking events. It is the largest professional conference of its kind in the U.S. explores the business of documentary filmmaking. It brings together business leaders, filmmakers, broadcasters, distributors and funders from both established and emerging media markets.

Simply Cinema is an independent company based in Prague, producing TV advertising campaigns, music videos, short films, features and documentaries. Since 2006, specialized in international sales of Czech feature films and prime-time series.

Sineast was born as part of the amateur film movement in the late 1960s. An overview of all Sineast issues is available on the website of the National Film Archive of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The submitted films are divided into the following sections: 1 Oficial Fantastic - films of various genres, including science fiction, fantasy, horror and thriller. 2 Oficial Noves Visions - innovative and transgressive film projects. 3 Orient Express–Casa Asia - new Asian cinema. 4 Anima’t - new animated films, series and shorts. 5 Midnight X-Treme - independent horror cinema. 6 Mondo Macabro - horror films from remote countries (e.g. China, Turkey, India, Vietnam). The programme also includes sections for the latest Catalan films, films selected by critics, retrospectives, kitsch and underground films, films by Catalan film students.
