Asian Side of the Doc is the most important coproduction meeting for the documentary professionals in Asia. Bringing together producers, distributors and broadcasters Asian Side of the Doc offers a platform to build strong professional and international networks, to promote deals and presales for programs in production and to initiate new coproduction projects.

The Asian Television Awards (ATA) is the Asian television industry’s most significant and celebrated event, recognizing excellence in programming, production and performance. It recognizes talent, spurs industry progress, and enhances the glamour of regional media.

Asiatica Film Mediale sets out to present outstanding cinematic works as a bridge between Asia and Italy. The programme includes feature and documentary films, all Italian premieres, and other special events. The festival will propose films from the following countries: China, Japan, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, The Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Thailand, Uzbekistan.

ASK - Asociácia slovenských kameramanov - Association of Slovak Cinematographers

Established in 2005, ASKA Film Productions is engaged in a wide range of activities, including the production of documentary films, educational films, TV political programmes, TV News and informative-promotional videos (promotion of businesses, products, hotels, institutions…). Its main projects in 2007 included the documentary film Žiť a spievať (‘To Live and To Sing’), directed by Anna Nemogová-Kolárová), the documentary film Medzi dvoma svetmi (‘Between Two Worlds’), directed by Anna Nemogová-Kolárová), and the documentary film Slovenskí insitní maliari v Srbsku (‘Naϊve Art in Serbia’), directed by Anna Nemogová-Kolárová). Representative activities in 2006 included production of the documentary films Kúzelnícky klobúk (‘The Magician's Hat - Portrait of a Roman Poet’) and Dezider Banga, directed by Anna Nemogová-Kolárová, and the short documentary Deti (‘Children’), directed by Anna Nemogová-Kolárová).

After a long break, the International Festival on Art and Artist's Biographies was re-established in 2001 as “AsoloArtFilmFestival”. Its origins date back to 1973, when Flavia Paulon, together with the local authority, decided to encourage the cultural awakening of Asolo’s small town, by creating the “Festival Internazionale del Film sull’Arte e di Biografie d’Artisti”, destined to become right from its first edition one of the most important exhibitions in the world.

The Aspects is a annual anthropological film festival that aims at exploring various areas of culture. The principle of the festival is to discover and present various relations, phenomena, interactions and mechanisms, which take place within a culture or between cultures. The audience will be acquainted with various cultural threads though festival discussions or events such as exhibitions, workshops and concerts.

The main objective of Brazil's International Disability Film Festival is to encourage new ways of seeing special needs and disabilities and stimulate discussions about inclusion of disabled people in the society. By disability we mean any physical, mental or intellectual impairment. The festival accepts works of any genre, length and year of production dealing with the theme of disabilities. Festival screenings will be presented in Rio de Janeiro, Brasília and Sao Paulo.

Associate Directors is an independent production company based in Belgium, with offices in Antwerp and Brussels. Associate Directors focuses on (co)-producing creative documentaries for an international audience. The productions concentrate on social relevant issues and cultural in-depth stories. Started in 1991, today the company combines the filmmaking experience of Mark Daems, Jan Lapeire and Bram Crols. Associate Directors brings together established and new talent on the cure for innovative ideas. Associate Directors initiated the DocShop workshop for upcoming national documentary makers to streamline their first documentary concepts. Through the film making process, Associate Directors established good intense working relations with many funding bodies, public and commercial broadcasters, and distribution opportunities among others. Recent films include co-productions with Rtbf, Arte Belgique, VRT, Lichtpunt, ZDF-Arte, YLe, AVRO among others. Associate Directors is an active member of European Documentary Network (EDN). Producer Mark Daems is the EDN national contact person.

The Association of European Cinémathèques (ACE) is an affiliation of over 30 national and regional preservation film archives from all over Europe. Its joint role is to protect the European film heritage and to assure that the audiovisual records of our century survive to be enjoyed and studied for generations to come.

ADEF is a non-profit organisation. It was set up in March 1999. With 21 member companies it stands as the unique representative of the French exporters of feature films, bringing together all the significant active French professionals. Adef is the voice of the French exporters towards the French and the European official organisations. It is supported by the CNC (Centre National de la Cinematographie) and by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. ADEF is developing its activities in close cooperation with Unifrance, the society in charge of the promotion of French cinema in the world.

Stowarzyszenie Film 1, 2 was founded in 2005. The association wants to support new directors - authors of their first or second film. The members include directors, scriptwriters, producers, editors etc.

Association for interdisciplinary and intercultural research was founded in 2002 in Zagreb. AIIR was focused on research and act on the basis of cultural spojinicí, while emphasizing the production of urban, social, artistic and scientific redefinition of the broadest scope.
