Nice Short Film Festival was established in 2000. The objective of the festival is to present short films by both experienced and new European filmmakers, and to make the audience aware of the current film and video culture through debates with filmmakers and film experts.

The name UNARFILM appears for the first time in 1990 in the videofilm KAREL, made by Petr Marek, Jirí Nebeský and Libor Hanus. Since this it is part of each title-sequency of every audio-visual work, created by UNARCLUB. The name UNARFILM continuates the tradition of the amateur film company MARKOFILM, lead by the father and the grandfather of director Petr Marek. It created mostly hockey- and family- movies. Between 1990 and 1998 made UNARFILM over 60 films. The shortest one takes 9 seconds, the longest 4 hours. Most of them are video - movies (mostly VHS, twice Betacam), the residual 6 are Super 8´s.

Undercurrents is an award winning production company specialising in producing and distributing DVD compilations reflecting UK & global counter-culture. Undercurrent is a non-profit company mostly working with video makers and communities who have been marginalised or overlooked by TV broadcasters. The main focus is on social and environmental justice issues.

UnderhillFest is dedicated to the full-length documentaries made in small cinematographies and independent productions, that is, to films that imposed themselves by innovation, idea and the power of their stories. UnderhillFest, as such, represents a real challenge in Montenegro, in terms of its program and production. The aim of our festival is primarily to educate the public about the special place that this kind of movie enjoys in the world of cinema, as well as about the power that documentary films have in representing and addressing both the urgent and seemingly irrelevant social problems in the world. Our festival is humane and socially engaged project in every sense: it is set aside from any institutionalized framework, open, slightly alternative and rebellious, intended solely for the free, creative and curious visitor who loves cinema and who can recognize the seriousness of the problems depicted in documentary films. Our festival has managed to find a path to its authentic audience, from the regular documentary films lovers, students who want to learn more about this cinematographic expression, to professional public contributing to the collective film education.

Unifrance is an organization dedicated to promoting French cinema worldwide. It was founded in 1949 and has around 500 members - feature film and short film producers, sales agents, directors and actors. The organization has the following tasks: it monitors the performance of the French film industry; it provides information on all newly released French films and all French films competing at international film festivals; it attends all major film festivals and markets| it organizes events dedicated to French cinema; it cooperates with French producers and sales agents to enable the distribution of French films abroad; it provides financial aid for subtitling, organizes the transport of film prints, and handles travel arrangements for directors.

It has a few thousand member's base in Czech Republic. There are not only individual but also collective members, like clubs, local radio stations, etc. Unijazz helps its members with realizing of their cultural projects. Unijazz is publishing an uncommercial monthly magazine UNI, which is oriented mostly on young, more particular readers. Music, mostly rock, jazz and contemporary (music) makes more than an half of its content. It also contains reviews of new CDs released in Czech Republic and abroad.

The Union of Audiovisual Authors and Producers (Związek Autorów i Producentów Audiowizualnych) is an organization of collective rights management appended to the Association of Polish Filmmakers. It protects the rights of film authors and producers, representing directors, screenwriters, cinematographers and set designers.

The aim of the organization is to protect the interests of its members and to promote the Bulgarian visual culture nationwide and abroad. The UBA has the largest exhibition complex in the country, which specialized in the presentation of contemporary and traditional Bulgarian art.

When the Estonian Society of Film Clubs was established in 1988, there were 40 film clubs operating in Estonia. In the same year, they joined the International Federation of Film Societies. In 1993, the activities of the society subsided due to economic difficulties and gained a fresh impetus in 1998. The main aim of the society is to introduce artistic films to school students.

The Union of Finnish Film and Video Employees is a trade union that bargains the collective labour agreement concerning film production, short films, documentaries and video production.
