The Tampere Film Festival is an independent short film festival with an international and national competition. It is also the oldest and the largest short film festival in Northern Europe. Entered films must not be longer than 30 minutes. Besides the festival screenings the audience has an opportunity to visit different kinds of related happenings, such as seminars, panels, concerts and clubs. The Tampere International Short Film Market is open to industry professionals during the festival.
