The UK Film Council is the lead agency for film in the UK ensuring that the economic, cultural and educational aspects of film are effectively represented at home and abroad. We invest Government grant-in-aid and National Lottery money in film development and production; training; international development and export promotion; distribution and exhibition; and education. The UK Film Council’s main initiatives: 1/ The Development Fund with 12 million over three years to support the development of a stream of high quality, innovative and commercially attractive screenplays. This fund is the largest of its type in Europe; 2/ The Premiere Fund with 24 million over three years to facilitate the production of popular, more mainstream films; 3/ The New Cinema Fund with 15 million over three years to back radical and innovative filmmakers, especially new talent, and to explore new electronic production technologies; 4/ The Print and Advertising Fund of 6 million over three year period; 4/ The Print and Advertising Fund - 6 million, distribution support; 5/ The Digital Screen Network - 11 million; 6/ International - international strategies for development

The UK Jewish Film Festival screens films that are based on Jewish issues and culture. The festival wants to contribute to a positive image of Jewish life; to be a forum for exposure to a diverse range of films of Jewish interest; to promote cultural diversity; to build bridges with other communities, and to explore the diversity of Jewish life and identity.

UK Screen Association is the trade body which represents and promotes over 140 service companies working in film, commercials and television in the UK. We provide a central point of focus, gathering and representing the views of the sector to government, broadcasters, studios, manufacturers and any other interested party.

Ukraine Film Office is an industry-sponsored non-profit organization intended to serve as promotional body for Ukrainian film industry abroad. Our aim is attaining wide recognition of Ukraine as an international film production and service centre. Ukraine Film Office provides information on every aspect of filmmaking in Ukraine. In 2009 Ukrainian Film Office starts a program of providing private equity to the co-productions on competitive basis.

That’s the reason why producers Zoltán Hidvégi and Miklós Kázmér’s vision for the company was able to attract a crew of talented young artists and freelancers, who excel in different fields of the applied arts.From CGI animation through music videos to feature length documentaries, we are involved in almost every aspects of moving images. Our highly educated staff has gained experience all over Europe, from Amsterdam to London. Our aim in the next years is that Umbrella shall become one of the most relevant production houses in Hungary not only with shorts but also with features and documentaries.

Nice Short Film Festival was established in 2000. The objective of the festival is to present short films by both experienced and new European filmmakers, and to make the audience aware of the current film and video culture through debates with filmmakers and film experts.

The name UNARFILM appears for the first time in 1990 in the videofilm KAREL, made by Petr Marek, Jirí Nebeský and Libor Hanus. Since this it is part of each title-sequency of every audio-visual work, created by UNARCLUB. The name UNARFILM continuates the tradition of the amateur film company MARKOFILM, lead by the father and the grandfather of director Petr Marek. It created mostly hockey- and family- movies. Between 1990 and 1998 made UNARFILM over 60 films. The shortest one takes 9 seconds, the longest 4 hours. Most of them are video - movies (mostly VHS, twice Betacam), the residual 6 are Super 8´s.

Undercurrents is an award winning production company specialising in producing and distributing DVD compilations reflecting UK & global counter-culture. Undercurrent is a non-profit company mostly working with video makers and communities who have been marginalised or overlooked by TV broadcasters. The main focus is on social and environmental justice issues.

UnderhillFest is dedicated to the full-length documentaries made in small cinematographies and independent productions, that is, to films that imposed themselves by innovation, idea and the power of their stories. UnderhillFest, as such, represents a real challenge in Montenegro, in terms of its program and production. The aim of our festival is primarily to educate the public about the special place that this kind of movie enjoys in the world of cinema, as well as about the power that documentary films have in representing and addressing both the urgent and seemingly irrelevant social problems in the world. Our festival is humane and socially engaged project in every sense: it is set aside from any institutionalized framework, open, slightly alternative and rebellious, intended solely for the free, creative and curious visitor who loves cinema and who can recognize the seriousness of the problems depicted in documentary films. Our festival has managed to find a path to its authentic audience, from the regular documentary films lovers, students who want to learn more about this cinematographic expression, to professional public contributing to the collective film education.
