Filmpool Nord Ltd. is the northernmost regional fund for film and television production in Sweden, located in Luleå, Northern Sweden. We fund and co-produce short fiction, documentaries, feature films and TV series. In addition, Filmpool Nord Ltd. is a regional resource centre for media literacy and distribution. The Swedish Lapland Film Commission (SLFC) is also a part of Filmpool Nord Ltd. The Film Commission promote the region as a national and international film location and provide services to production teams
shooting in the region.
Filmpool Nord has always worked with a variety of projects, where each project addresses a specific development area within the audiovisual industry. At the moment Filmpool Nord heads up Filmpool Nord Development and FilmArc 2.0.
Filmpool Nord began work in 1992 and was one of the first regional resource centres in Sweden, later also becoming a regional production centre. The annual turnover is approximately 4,1 million euros.

The Finnish Film Foundation’s task is to support and develop Finnish film production, distribution and exhibition. The Finnish Film Foundation is an independent foundation which is supervised by the Department for Cultural Policy in the Ministry of Education. The Foundation is supported by grants from the Finnish National Lottery and by the Finnish Broadcasting Company, and it grants film production support, exhibition and distribution support and support for international activities. On the grounds of a contract made with the Ministry of Education, the Foundation grants support for international film festivals held in Finland which also have national significance. The Finnish Film Foundation is integrally responsible for the cultural export of Finnish film. It receives approx. EUR 8.7 million per year, and subsidizes about ten feature films and 35 short and documentary films every year.

The Greek Film Centre functions as a public liability company that belongs to the broader public sector, is supervised by the Ministry of Culture and subsidized by the state. Its structure, powers and operation are regulated chiefly by Law 1597/86 for the protection and development of the art of film and the support of Greek cinema and by Presidential Decree 113/98. The aims of the Organization are: the protection, support and development of the art of film in Greece, and the presentation, promulgation and promotion of Greek films both at home and abroad. The Greek Film Center organizes film screenings that cover a wide range of film genres. GFC gives priority to the support of Greek films while Filmcenter's main program will include selected quality films from global cinema. Emphasis will be given to reviving the children's program Cineac and to after-midnight screenings.

Administered by the International Film Festival of Rotterdam, the Hubert Bals Fund is designed to support feature and documentary films by talented filmmakers from developing countries. Since the Fund started in 1988, well over 530 projects from independent filmmakers in Asia, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America have received support. Approximately 80% of these projects have been realised or are currently in production. Every year, the IFFR screens completed films supported by the Fund.
