4 PROOF FILM is a production company created by Adrian Sitaru - director, Monica Lazurean-Gorgan – producer, Adrian Titieni - actor and Adrian Silisteanu – DOP.It is characterized by independent spirit, individual approach and artistic profile and aims to produce films with an artistic outcome, depending as little as possible on the commercial influences, compromises or circumstantial arrangements. Its representative project is the independent feature film HOOKED aka PESCUIT SPORTIV selected in Venice Days at the Venice International Film Festival 2008 and Toronto IFF 2008 and was awarded in festivals like Thessaloniki, Palm Springs, Mons, Buenos Aires and Estoril, sold in 12 territories, with co-producers as Marie-Pierre Macia and ARTE France CINEMA; an ambitious project for the Romanian cinema conditions, 100% independent, produced with a low budget within a year and a half. Our latest project THE CAGE, short fiction, director Adrian Sitaru was selected in Berlinale Shorts 2010 and won the DAAD grant award. 8 years old company, which is a digital post production studio, and production house. The Studio has committed itself to the digital video format film making. On 500 square meters, there are 5 Avid workstations, a linear editing workstation, an Avid DS, and all these rooms, are connected with 100 square meter big studio area. In the name, the workshop means that our team is opened to helping, and solving to create any kind of experimental audio-visual production. It has made several commercial, and contributed in several feature films, documentaries, short films, for example Puskas Hungary, Journey Home.
