American Documentary is a leading nonprofit media organization dedicated to creating, identifying and presenting contemporary nonfiction stories that express opinions and perspectives rarely featured in mainstream media. The Association of Motion Picture Sound is an organisation of film and television sound technicians based in the U.K. The association currently has about 330 highly experienced members from the industry. AMPS holds regular meetings on all areas of sound for film and television production and arrange demonstrations of new equipment and technology. A quarterly journal is published and circulated to all members and extracts from this are available on the AMPS website.

Animaatioklinikka is an organization representing its members working in the field of animation in Finland. Animaatioklinikka organizes film screenings, visits to studios, festival trips, etc. Members of the Association receive a newsletter 7-8 times a year, with the latest updates on the activities of the Association and on the developments in the Finnish animation industry. Members of Animaatioklinikka automatically become members of the Kopiosto copyright organization.

Animationshuset (Animation House) caters to a number of companies that deal with animation on professional level. The house opened in 1995 with support from the Danish Ministry of Culture. It has a lot to offer to children and young adults, for instance, Project Anima, which is a mobile cartoon film workshop, where youngsters have an opportunity to make an animated film – from idea to final product. Schools, children’s culture centres, etc., can order the services of Anima for money. Project Anima also has special workshops for kids in different places in Copenhagen and Malmö.

Anthology Film Archives is an international center for the preservation, study, and exhibition of film and video with a particular focus on American independent and avant-garde cinema and its precursors found in classic European, Soviet and Japanese film.

Anthropolis is a non-governmental, non-political, public benefit association, founded in 2002. Anthropolis is an institute for cultural and visual anthropological research and social development. Our organisation intends to strengthen institutional background of education and social and visual anthropological research. The aim of Anthropolis is to ensure a worldwide reputation of applied anthropology and promote participatory approach in management of recent social problems. We encourage development activity on local levels both in urban and rural areas, especially in the countries of the former communist block. One of our main goals is to give birth to international workshops and open forums in order to help and support discussion, network building between Hungarian and other international anthropological associations and institutions. Anthropolis is a member of TRIALOG and HAND (Non-Governmental Development Platform, Hungary), as well.

The Advertising Producers Association was formed by and represents the interests of production companies, post production and VFX and editing companies making commercials.

Audiovisual Producers' Association (APA) was founded in 1994. It associates producers and production companies both in the sphere of the Czech film, film service and promotion. The main activity of the Association is a protection and promotion of producers' interests, dealing with professional associations, with protective authors' organisations or with bodies of the state administration. The Association also cooperates in solving legal and tax issues related to film production and it takes part in creating legislative norms in this sphere.

The Portuguese Documentary Association is a non-profit organisation founded in 1998, whose objective is to contribute to the creation and development of documentary culture in Portugal. Part of its work is to promote and disseminate Portuguese documentaries abroad. Apordoc has been a member of the European Documentary Network since 1998. Apordoc is based in Lisbon, where it also develop a videotheque and an information center.

The Andalusian Association of Independent Production Companies (Asociación Empresas Productoras Independientes Andaluzas) currently has 13 members.
